Starting to look a lot better - get your scenery finished, and mute the colors a bit. Try exaggerating the shading on your scenery and overemphasizing the colours on your area of focus - it should have a pretty dramatic effect on this specific scene.

So wtf, I thought this was gonna be pixelled? I guess in the end though that's for the better as I knew you weren't going to finish it as a pixel piece. No idea about your digital painting rep though!

Btw, if you painted this, the canvas you work on is bigger, right?!
whenever i try to paint something, i need to use a canvas 2x as big as i plan for the finished product to look nice, and then i probably need to zoom in for details, i suck so bad. xD
