Night has a gani made for this, just replace it with the default gani. Your shield appears on your back while riding the horse.

Done.

Now that our shields are on our backs, move the detection for blocking?

Hey with the whole shield thing being on your back when you ride a horse.

Suggestion: Try making it so that for people who do not actually have shields, but instead a tie for a shield for example, right well maybe the tie should not be on the players back.

Also, how would people feel about when fighting baddies, once defeated, the player could sheath their sword?

Also, unless you guys like riding around on your horse with something that isnt an actual shield on your back, i would say something because DC is acting like he does not want to fix it. Or night , who is doing the ganis, or Thor. Also, when you push against something, your shield goes on your back, i'm sure people have seen this but i feel it should be SUGGESTED that it be fixed or something happens. They took that right out of zelda, i don't think link was riding around with random crap on his back. Just my opinion.

Suggestion: Different elemental weapons. For instance, a Flame bow, or dark bomb, something along those lines. It would make for good quests for example, needing a certain elemental weapon to complete a task in a quest to progress.

I've made it so that shields only appear within the horse/push/grab/pull ganis if the shield size is the normal 38 x 20 dimensions.
