Anyways, I'm not sure something like this would really work. The overworld is REALLY small, I'm not even sure it'd be able to handle 30 players, lol.

I don't know, I kinda like the idea of a smaller overworld.

True, it's good when the players are concentrated on a smaller area to have more chances to interact.
If I see GK I sometimes think:
How many players did you have in mind? Half a million?

Maybe, but I mean this is REALLY small, especially if you don't consider the more obscure areas like the desert and Death Mountain. The largest chunk of land is only like... 5 levels wide. Other than that, most of the areas don't even have a size larger than one level because of the geography and such.

I agree with rufus just think of it this way I will use Classic as an example.

Classic you are making Iced Tea with one teabag in a gallon pitcher.

In an overworld like lttp you're making Iced Tea in a quart pitcher with about 10 tea bags. --More bang per square level!

Classic's one teabag with a gallon pitcher only applies because Classic has always made very bad use of space.

I still think it's a bit too small to make functional on a largely populated server. It might bring players together, but at the same time you might want to spread players out a bit by giving them things to do in different places.

Regardless, the copyright thing still persists beyond the overworld problem :)

It is obviously a single player centered server and you can double the space because there is a dark world with about the same number of levels!

Still looking for a small crew to help on this project:

Our new quest design is attached-- I added an overlay so nobody steals our WIP tiles or levels and takes credit for them(Sorry but you can never be too trusted on a public forum).

I could've sworn this was a joke. Seriously bro, you can't just remake LTTP.
The tiles look exactly alike!

DustyPorViva 10-12-2009 08:33 PM

Look exactly alike? They're ripped, lol.

Actually, I love this Rofl.

A Link to the Past is actually the game behind Graal Online, and making the game itself as a online world would be DAMN neat! I love ALttP and I support! ^^

There is a reason why graalonline was stopped being named zelda online.
