i would kill whoever hosted country music.

You could just use your computer but I want people to listen to the music I listen to. Some people might call me a ***got because of the music but that's what makes it funny.

Lets get back on topic...
_______ Anyway, so far I see no reason why it shouldn't be added to Zone, and if there are some reasons, they aren't very clear. (Besides, maybe Lag Issues.) |
I have a good idea why don't just just listen to your own music on windows media player or I Tunes?

Also this is a way for people to let others listen to their music, they like, and also for people to listen to new music. Anyway, so far the polls are leaning toward this being at least though of for Zone. The Yes are leading by a majority, and are well over the Nos. |

I wanna start by saying I'm no "pro" when it comes to this but I think I know enough.
Ok, first off I heard something about lag and then someone else talking about hosting through Graal or something. No. It doesn't work that way. The mp3 files have to be uploaded somewhere, obviously not on Graal. All Graal does is playback the link you provide it. I'm sure adding such a function is easy, but why the hell bother? Ok, it's neat to have your own cute little radio station where people can tune into the music you're playing, but seriously speaking how will this benefit Zone? How many people actually use the radio function on Zodiac? When I played Era and radio stations were active, I think overall you had like 30-40 listeners at best out of 100 or so. Of course that died out quite quickly. If Stefan can implement a radio system with ease, that's fine. But if it takes a decent amount of work is it seriously worth it? |
