I think events can fit, you can have role-playing events,
sports, kingdoms who are fighting against each
other in an organized friendly form instead of
just constantly using swords / magic (on UO).
In the antique and in the medieval age they had many
events, just because the emporers/kings were bored.

The minigames were needed because you
can't always change the whole world just
because of some fun idea, then it's better to
make a place dedicated to it and separated from
the main world.

Oh yes I think there are many intelligent
people who are tired when they come home
and want to play some fun game where you
don't need to care about rules and need
to concentrize and work to make everything
perfect to fit your role.
If both groups of people could live
together in one world then things would
probably be the best, the people who have more
time can spend on making the environment
more complex than just hack&slay&chat,
while the people who want to have fun
could be hired as soldier or worker or
could go in a town and play a music instrument
for money

Kings and emporers only allowed people from their
country to compete in their events or allied countrys,
not the whole world. :)

Gameo, your abrasiveness hurts a lot of peoples' feelings.

CORPSE, who is easily among the most intelligent people I know, is also a proud non roleplayer. I don't think it's at all fair to marginalize people on something that reflects so little.

I wish people weren't so accustomed to insulting others, subtly or otherwise. :\

i really don't care if it hurts.
people should use their brains, and i'm sick of captain usa always being so nice and never giving any negative opinions on anything.

corpse is very smart, that's why i said "of course there are some exceptions"

LordAzeroth 07-11-2001 08:43 AM

People who walking into town with a Saxophone
and start playing are usually slaughtered though,
which makes things agravating.

OUTLAWS!

brad, bring Outlaws into Karakaze, so we can both grow into the greatest Bandit nation!

LordAzeroth 07-11-2001 08:50 AM

What we need are some people who have NPC's
only they can use, and are picked by admins,
Like a group of bandits that have a steal NPC
that only they can use, but bandits can only
steal with their guildtag on, and there are
only so many of them (like 10).

Something to make players unique amoung
eachother!

i think i speak for trueheat when i say NO

Huggles 07-11-2001 08:51 AM

I dont like hurting peoples feelings, Instead of hastely rushing to comment making rude, ignorant comments I think about the good points to say...

Its not fun being on the opposite side when you are trying to do something you think people will like instead they turn on you and chew you up and spit you out.....

Negativity only makes this game worse not better.

evilive 07-11-2001 08:51 AM

Dustari turned into a pit form heck. I mean, you can't even turn your backfor one second before someone jumps on you from behind and starts slamming your face into the dirt and convincing others to join in. That's why I quit.
