Last post and Im out.

Draenin, the one your talking about, Stone_Henge brang up. I took his idea, added in alot of new details, and how systems would work, and also threw in a couple of Gfx Templates. I got more in-to details about how the game would work, so everyone got to see what I meant by "Zone RPG". Stone_Henge was talking about an "Era-Like" rpg, if I remember correctly. This type of RPG would be FAR greater, and FAR better than Era, Zone, and GK. Like I said, I like RPG's like GK, but I hate Swords. I love Gun games, but I hate Arcade like servers. So why not make a RPG that has Guns? Thats all this idea is about. :)

What have you got against this idea? New concepts could be brought in. It would be very fun to play. E.G. Buying a house, getting a job (Police, army), brand new weapons, tactical weapons, new tilesets, new GUI, new system, new scripts and new maps. Why are you so moody? :(

Perhaps it's because a lot of things are in decline, and I really hate seeing ideas recycled. Shortly, I'll be leaving Zone and Kingdoms for a while, and don't want to see crap going down on a bad note.

Sayian, I respect your attempt to work on an integration of ideas, but you're taking the wrong approach with it. These ideas are just a compilation of information that will not work out. If you want ideas for a new futuristic server based on Zone or whatever, ask me and I'll do my best to put out some documentation of things that would work. But please, for the love of god, don't pick random things out here and there, superglue them together, and call it a plan. I can actually see how a futuristic RPG server would work, (Hell, look at SWG) but it's not going to work on Crossfire's engine. That engine does not fly well with nearly any server, since the amount of content needed to fill in the gaps is ridiculous. Zone is successful because it has a simple concept. That is no longer so when you add a completely new engine to it.

Well now I know Zone just except's ideas for repuatation or how long you've been playing........This is a good idea but people didnt like mine because of the leveling idea, this is the same thing. Also maybe make it so you can choose whether or not to show your kills and deaths because people brag about their stats which cuases alot of fights. Zone would need a complete reset for this meaning all your stats, money, items, and lists that you are on will be erased.

No. Zone is an arcade style game, not an RPG.

I understnad if you disagree with this i am not in love with it either. Maybe we can have a cabal against the idea. I wouldn't mind it and would consider it fun as long as it was a different server seeing as I love zone and have neverf found it boring. WEll except for when I tr to bug osomene for events like vulcan.
