Face it, the community is the only reason Graal's been alive so long, and the community is pretty much dead.

I agree that the community has kept this game alive, aside from the fact that once you pay the initial fee that you don't have to pay monthly fees anymore, helps a ton.
What you do have to understand is that Graal Online is a very small business, it does not have a team of developers; so development is slow. If there were financial mistakes made it probably hurt them dearly.
It is unfortunate that Stefan is the only coder on the team or they could of really had something by now because they were around before the huge MMO boom. SWG/WoW/FFXI/Guild Wars/ect.
As for SWG, I've been around since day one and seen plenty of uproars in the community along with extended downtime. the NGE that was released really hurt the game since so much was changed; it wasn't the game the current player base got comfortable with, but they did it because they wanted a fresh community with a small learning curve. Part of WoWs major sucess is that they had it right the first time, and are very careful not to introduce huge change to the game to make their current playerbase run away.
But if Graal Online decides to change the game totally to bring in new blood, I wish them the best.
So please do not compaire a Enterprise mistake such as SWG, with a small businesses ability to pay for qualified staff. I am sure if they had the investors that they could make a very sucessful product.
