Okay, for the map or dungeon for priests and sorcerer, thats retarded. Can't you see there are immense maps, and you have the ability to kill stuff with prayers and magic?! Hello?! Wake up and smell the lucky charms!!

As for the arcane shop, thats a great idea, but how about you can buy the starter things there, (For a alchemy item, or craftable) Maybe, you buy a Sorcerer Wand (Different from Priest wand) and you combine them with like... (new items idea) Demons Tooth, or a Cyclop's rib cage. Then you can get a demonic evil looking black wand. But for animated wands like the sceptre of lightning arrow, we would need to craft like, one of the wands, and then alchemize them, with other items, and we have a animated wand. But to make this tough, make hard to get items, Like a Dievil horn (3% chance of dropping), and make a use for pearls, and emeralds! And all great value gems.

Also, the whole idea of buying wands for plat.. No.

There are people with like 60k+ platinum coin, and that will give a big disadvantage to others. What about a money reset? So we can all start with the same ammount of cash.

Have different wands showing up in reg stores? Rarity decides value of wand.

Thanks for being ignorant, panda. Perhaps you should try eating real cereal next time instead of that irish marshmallow crap ;)

Immense maps give poor experience, especially compared to the brutal maps that people chug through. Also, most mage spells are highly ineffective against the monsters in there (none of mine work other than like animated wepaon, and i have quite a lot of spells), and priests / mages using animated weapon haven't even got enough time to complete the maps oftentimes.

The only thing we have going for us is lords, and that's poor compared to brutals. Waek up adn smel teh nozehares plz

So you're saying that if they'd cost, say, 1k, then all people would buy 60? :whatever:

I said wands not rods. Wands do not add any stats, only allow you to cast spells when they're equipped. While rods don't use mana, and allow you to cast spells you don't have without cease.

No offending my food plz?

Immense maps may give poor experience, but most priests and sorcerer's can survive them, since they have protection spells and stuff, and your not limited to one thing, since you have melee scrolls, piety, legendremain (how ever you spell it) / talisman.

I went on a immense with my friend, who was leveling magic, he survived, since he had protection from fire and ice, and didn't cast on me... Well lucky me I died to a demon! He got a lot of good exp, from those evil devil things. But in brutals, he died, so how about, instead of that, making the monsters in immense, give more exp?? You can finish some maps, and some you can't, just like I can't finish a brutal.. (yes I know this is sad)

If they made good items using alchemy, yes. They would probably try to make them then trade them off, to get better items. Thats why money should also be reset.

There is no reason money should be reset, people tha have 60k or more, it just didn't poof there they had to work for it, lets take away all your stuff so we can make it fair for the ewer players, ok?

I just had a genius idea for wands. Harhar.

There should be a wand shop that sells just normal Wands, different colors, and different ammount of "slots" open. Then there could be like a Magic Smithy, where you take items like Gems or other mithical things (maybe phoenix feathers, etc), and he fuses them with your wand and that gives it another power. Also, with every upgrade, it wastes one slot. This would make much more customisable wands.

If I recall... there was a glitch a few weeks ago, where you alchemize your plat, and get more in selling large gold nuggets.

Hmmm...i like the idea of customizeable wands. You could have a truely unique wand. Also...there could be certain things other than gems, such as everyday things, you could put on your wand, and create a feature on it. An example would be using a lump of coal to make the shaft black, or a potato which would make the headpiece a potato! :O
The possibilities of this are limitless, and damn...there isnt enough variation between players. Has noone else ever felt frustrated that they can't have the exact image they want on GK? I'd love to be able to look like a dark priest, or a heavenly saint, or actually look like a barbarian or an alchemist or a monarch or a thief or an assassin....

WanDaMan 05-09-2004 08:05 AM

yes, there should be one

So you want to reset money just to buy wands, horrible reasoning there.
