This is so that they fit ganis alot better and the old hat format will fit them ( I doubt i'll use old hat's but my hair system follows similar presets)
It also makes them look a little sleeker
The middle one is the old body
The top is what im changing too

Sadly ... doing this will take some time as I have to change ganis and I have to change all the clothing items images and the hair.
Doing this however will provide sharper gani positioning instead of having an odd # pixeled image im changing from 51 to 50.
I'll update my body progress soon it may not be as hard as it looks :)

The last one..

Or the first one but fix the head chin looks pointy o_O:rolleyes:

The middle one :)
The first one is too skinny and the last one is too fat XD
The head still looks like...mega crazy o_O

Well I had to use the skinny one because of compatibility issues.
The skinny ones were an even pixel number 32 while the middle sized ones were 33 so the one pixel reduction made compatability with gani's and even some old graphix work.

Here is an example of character , also the one on the right was just showing that the old hats even fit them because im using the hat style format for hair.

UPDATES : 2-21-04
- Bodies and all related graphix revamped and one width pixel removed from all pertaining images to allow better compatibility and smoother animations.

Next on agenda
- Add some more options to gani outline and impliment them into gani's "Also study better how ganis can be used online in npcs and affected by setshape and other commands to do smoother effects and lag less"

Screenshots?

How exactly does it mess up layering? Because I have so many images that need to be attached I'm still wondering if I should or not?

UPDATES: 2-28-04

WOW its been a little while on updates
Ill explain why
Well.... there were 3 1 pixel sized errors that I didn't find until I was a good ways into making the gani's
They have been fixed but fixing them in one graphic meant fixing them in each and everyone of them so it took a while.
I also used the attachsprite function in the ganis which required ... well it required doing 365 ATTACHSPRITE commands ontop of 60 sprites

UPDATES:
-IDLE gani and all sprites that could possibly be thought up
(APPROXIMATLEY 589 Sprites O_O MY GOD that took forever)
- Each possible sprite (walking, swinging , dying, ect..) has the correct images attached to them so making the regular gani's will be a snap now
- Aura's extensively worked on
- Bug with gralats/showimgs worked on and sadly not resolved Pretty much sure its a memory leak with graal but i'll find away around it of course :)
- New gani attributes are as follows
Body / Hair / Hat or mask / Shirt / Pants/ Shoes / Armour
- Although there is no armour drawn yet it has a template and has been attached to all sprites in the gani
-Levels added to a GMAP still unsure if GMAP will be used or not (NO TERRAIN EITHER WAY)
-2 Realism Effects completed more info on this later

More soon!

Not too much my schedule has been changing but i've put a good 8 hours into reconfigured the normal pics1.png into the new order format which should be done soon Here is thread
http://forums.graal2001.com/forums/s...7&pagenumber=2

Here is a pic of progress (not all progress)
http://forums.graal2001.com/forums/a...&postid=948011

I hadn't realized how many blocking tiles there were and ran into a huge problem
I ran out of space O_O so im having to move a few things around
and remove some objects that would be better off as an npc anyway I may remove the gold tree's too I don't see them used much at all anywayz keep the red ones and green ones
Ive also made many new tiles and recolored most all of the old ones (read thread)

I may be getting the old old fah levels soon too which will be neat as I would like to see them again and maybe use a few ;)
