Age doesn't really affect whether or not you can obtain or drink the alcohol, I was just wondering because kids shouldn't drink because they aren't even fully developed yet and it could have some major problems later on in life, if not fatal.

I don't see what is so great about drugs, cigarettes, and alcohol. My sister and dad are cigarette smokers, and they know it's bad, but they are addicted. My sister's friend is a drunk, and she also knows this, and knows it's bad. But she is addicted.

My motto is, alcohol and drugs are for people that are too weak to feel comfortable around others without having excuses such as "I was acting stupid because I was drunk" That is like 90% of the reason people drink/do drugs. Because they can blame anything they do on the substance, and they can finally make friends with people because if they screw up meeting with them, they can just say it was the drugs/alcohol. :(

I know many people that do this just to hang out with others and have something to do/talk about. It's sad really.

And I thought my conversations are odd.... wait they are nevermind :rolleyes:

Even better point. If you are socially inept and you think alcohol is really going to help you, it won't. It'll probably end up killing you on the drive home. The only time I'll drink is at a wedding, graduation, and stuff. At parties, it's the pepsi for me. Er wait, coke. Pepsi sucks.

That could possibly be one of the reasons. I dont drink, but i smoke every now and again. When i feel like not smoking, i dont, cause i dont want to. My "addiction" isnt that bad yet. People drink and do drugs because they are bored too. Doing those things make you experience different feelings and emotions, as well as physical and mental alterations. Personally, I dont like or want to walk around completely wasted everyday, because when you're wasted, you might be having fun, but you're normally missing out on things you can do while youre not wasted. Getting completely rocked once a month is ok with me, lol. Once a week is WAY too much, and more than that, you're just a junky.

No, smoking is bad. Period. No matter what angle you look at it. Physical and mental alterations.. woohoo? Read a book.

I've tried drinking, not too much though.
I still like Canada Dry (Ginger Ale) better though :)
I'll wait till im 18 to start drinking a bit if any.

And Cig's disgust me, nasty, smells, kills, ewww

I have never had ANY alcohol or tobacco, or any controlled substance without benefit of a prescription from a reputable member of the medical community. When I turn 21 I just might bring home a bottle of good red wine, though...but I find vodka and whiskey to be dangerous to society because one serving of said forms of booze is so small it theoretically would leave you wanting more.

Last LAN I went to I played through Serious Sam 2 with a friend for like 5-10 hours

good unhealthy fun
