Oh, TrueHeat, if you want to help contribute ideas, talk to me or something.

There has to be some sort of way to edit a tiles type offline right? I mean how is it that NW and 2k2 have different tile types? I can't really test it online because the playerworld is FAR from ready to be "Under construction" or anything.. so I need to be able to change the tile type offline so I can build levels and things with it.. Because I think the tileset is way too jumbled at the moment.. I guess I will contact Stefan. :)

If you're going for completely rescripting Graal's basic controls you can just change which tiles do what by making it check in a certain array for onwall tiles etc., though it is a pain to customly have to redivide 4096 tiles.

I like it so far. Good Luck

Okay I messed around with the roofing a bit more.. I did some slanted stuff. I still need to fix up/add a few more tiles to make it actually look right, and it definitely needs shading, but I was just testing the "look" of the roof.. Do they look okay? (besides missing the shading and things)

Yes I realize I need more decor for the front of the house.. and some slanted chimney pieces ;)

I'll actually be doing many different house designs, such as stone walls/brick walls, wooden walls, and lots of other stuff.. (if what stefan is telling me is true and I can do it) :D

has to be
i remember reading somewhere it had to be p2p if you use your own tileset but i dunno if its true
i suspect it will be p2p though so Koni can use the better scripting commands

Ultima_P2P 01-12-2002 02:56 PM

I like it ;)

Because you'd mess up all the perspectives if you did?

If you use addtiledef you'll need to be P2P, I'm not sure if making someone download and replace pics1.png is not allowed on free though.
