Pirate Crew, and Zormite I can understand, accept all kingdoms should have their own strengths and weaknesses.

Samurai = Japan = they were on an island, they needed boats. But your right, every kingdom should have strengths/weaknesses. I am presuming Dustari would not get a very strong navy, Pirates would, Zormites too, Samurai would be... decent. And each of the boats should have stripes or a banner to represent each kingdom

Symbol, banner, whatever you wanna call it.
And remember that once a symbol is changed, that it stays that way for a good 5 months because we don't want kingdom changing their undying holy symbol every week...

I don't even think that every kingdom has a symbol.

Me thinks dustari is getting a little greedy now they wanted a new castle. Fair enough. Then they wantedtheyre own lockable villiage...ok it makes it like a real kingdom.. *sigh* now they want most of the water??

We didn't "want" our own "lockable" village. It simply happened, Birdbird made the levels and we ended up having the town because he wanted to make one. We're not "greedy". We didn't "want a new castle", either, it happened because someone OUTSIDE OF DUSTARI originally suggested it and we furthered the idea, Birdbird supported it and made the levels, and that's that. We're far from Greedy, you apparently know nothing. :)

Orriginally, a player could open and close the gates by saying 'open gate' and 'close gate'...but that was changed so that only Dustari members could operate the gate. I've heard from many people(mostly newbies), that they are mad because they can't get the torch item because the gates are locked...

Make me Fleet Admiral of the navy ;)

The gates have been locked lately because Dustari's at war. Once we're out of our little wartime situation, we will leave the gates open most of the time. Curon pretty much ruined everything for the torch-loving newbies. :)

Dustari refuses to allow a 42 unit extension to Antora which won't harm anything, however, Dustari now apparently thinks it can just steal a massive sea territory from the pirates and water travel?

I think not!

Dustari will not give anything away, however, when someone asks for something, Dustari finds it a good time to just go out and try to expand itself.

Empires are really just territorial borders.. Kingdoms are actual owned and privated lands for civilizations.
You are trying to expand on other kingdom's land!

*stab*

Usually when somebody is at war, they FIGHT!!!!!!!
But nooo, Dustari just sits back in their bubble and does nothing...

Well, Jerom! I guess considering that I've sent my men out to fight Curon numerous times...I guess I haven't fought, eh? Tell me, Jerom. In the middle ages, when a Lord was at war with another Lord, did he leave his castle open for people to waltz in and have a look around?

Antago: The water extension is still an idea, I haven't even fully supported it yet. I'm not much in favor of a navy, as my resources and management are strained already.

I haven't seen a Dustari member fight within the last week, but then again, I've been floating in Bomber River answering PMs.

The lord would send scouts, spies, bountymen, etc. And besides, the castle wouldn't be open, the kingdom would be ;)

Sjc2k1 10-22-2001 01:58 AM

and if zormite is going to have a navy you are going to have to make a chanal that runs from zormite terriory to the open sea, since ships cannot travel up water falls .

Dustari is more of a fortress then your traditional Castle with towns and farmland, thus the closing of the gate. Dustari is essentially a big Castle.

Antora is a continental border. I spoke with Stefan yesterday about this stuff (well, I can't tell you anything.. really.. I have to keep some stuff secret or Unixmad might beat me with a fax machine) and he realizes that continents are just borders owned by explorers.

However, you tend to refuse Antora growing and you actually are even trying to refuse Bomboria's land... NOW after you refused just organization continental borders (Antora and Bomboria are empires; yes. But as empires, the kingdoms in them control the activity as if they were states that are part of a union controled by an empirical gov't.), now you apparently think you can go and expand onto the unclaimed territory (the seas -- seas are unclaimed because they are just water. They are used for quick routes and anarchies).

The anarchist pirates who live in the seas should ultimately bombard your ports and kidnap your children! :)
