Not only have you potentially cut out a lot of business from GP and AM by making heavy armors and ammo readily farmable, but if they're dropping cookies and bubble gum as well (last time i checked, instant heals, no cooldown?), aren't you destroying ALL profit a food business could make?

Yes that's my plan, destroy businesses.
But really.
Don't worry I will make them un-farm-able. And add a little extra touch to the quest.... since you know, some say its easy? ;)

If you add a little touch to the quest, I'd reccomend a alternate route that experienced players can take, probably involving freeing BlueMelon and Frankie with the keycard, then progressing through an alternate route where tougher enemies are faced (ninja bodyguards, stronger zombies?), w/ a harder boss (mother's son after experimentation) with no exploitable walls -- this would require the work of 2 or more players in jolly co-operation. If this alternate quest path is truly hard, then it should deserve not to have a cooldown between completions of it, because it will take time for players to complete it.

I like where this is going.
But yeah, an alternate route that involves grinding through a couple of devilishly challenging rooms w/ a alternate boss would be awesome.
If you want me to get started on the alternate route stuff, sure thing. I'll do it all, as long as you can PM me the scripts for all the different NPC enemies, and the NPC boss, and the keycard script, keycard door and keycard keypad.
I can probably have it done in a few hours, starting now w/ the level design, then once I can get the scripts from you after that, everything will be done.
I'll tell you the ideas for the rooms via RC.

For everyone else reading this, I gaurentee this will be hell to get through.

mad scientists always seem to have german based names

WillaWonka 07-12-2012 04:56 AM

Yes, make it much harder, because some ammo and a armor vest is worth it!

So are the follow-me-penguin and follow-me-ferret.

In a non-sarcastic way, they are.
fme penguin is a sold out MVP/EC item, fme ferret is new.
there could be more fme's from the crate.

This is not UN, god, no one understands the concept of era anymore... The syringe was the best thing to happen to era since it became a 2k melee.

Since he's a mad scientist, maybe there should be mad science-y weapons/items that you can get from the mission.

I think he means nitros (crash bandicoot 1!), bottled potions, BB's 23dmg .15 freeze gun that the boss uses.
