tig has done more work to the server than all the previous managers combined... it's just he has no help... who wants to work for free... If it was easier to make things... more people would help lol

Tig doesn't have enough access to change the stuff that really needs to be changed, which is terrible.

Plus that I remember Stefan saying that he don't want to make big changes to GK.
But you could always make a GK2 I guess xD

That's not really true anymore. The MUDlib is still really annoying to work around, but it's a lot more flexible than it used to be. Even with access to the GServer or MUDlib code, he couldn't do a whole lot. The MUDlib needs to be completely redesigned and rewritten.

The issue is more of enthusiasm for me (Tig is just really busy last I heard from him). It's not fun scripting when you're forced to work with old scripts and implement everything by hacking on to existing systems (it's also not sustainable scripting).

I think this is one of the main problems with volunteer help. Making stuff is fun, but often times you get caught up in the boring stuff and grind to a halt (this happened on Era Dev when I was doing all the scripting as well).

I just want to see GK get active again.. Seriously everytime I login it's the same idlers and that's about it. Can't host events with that. Can't trade. Can't really do anything. Idk what that 'key' is to make GK more active again.. but we need to find it.. I know the easter event helped make GK hella active.. at least for a couple weeks.. I guess we just have to wait for F2P/iphone and see how it effects GKs playercount?

It wont effect the Playercount of GK or do you see iEra is effecting Era's on PC???

I was working a bit on GK (and I still am, technically), but it was extremely unmotivating to be the only one on RC working, always. I could be wrong, but I think the only "staff" on GK is Tig, me and cbk. I haven't seen Tig or cbk work on anything during the weeks I remained active on Graal.

Noone is active except of Events Team ppl rarely......I hope Halloween Event will come soon !!!!!

seems like nothing has changed yet, will there ever be action instead of only words?
