It doesn't matter if they "just look like it". Anyone can steal an image and slightly change the colour or slightly change the line art, it will be still be stolen content even if it's modified.

Honestly man, Recolors are no different than stealing. Don't try to justify it by saying it isn't when it is due to the fact it may have been changed in any way. If you have graphics artists on your server staff, Make a new barrel gfx for your tileset instead.

Edit: Just as I post this, the guy above me makes a tl;dr edition. Nice XD

I don't even think the colors were changed. Still has this unsaturated look to it :p If anybody remembers, we had a couple problems with proper saturation and contrast on Esteria.

Here's a little comparison, the outlines are exactly the same.
Not to mention that I do, just like Crow, recall the unsaturated look, and the barrels you see on the right are the ones Angelu edited for me about 2 weeks ago.

Of course they are, because they were edited to fit the overall tileset of Ruins.
The barrels on your screenshot are exactly the originals, made years ago for Esteria, with not texture and really unsaturated looking.
Johank probably found a screenshot of Esteria somewhere, guess what happened next.

What are you talking about? The lineart is 100% identical.

It's obvious the barrels were stolen because they look so out of place against your tileset. Esteria wasn't using a recolour of the pics1 tileset, they had a custom one and which the barrels were made to complement the different tile style.

Even if it's stolen art (which should be removed immediatly) only the artist of the original art can decide to remove them or not.

iSlayer, next time, never advertise someone as a pro, when all he's obviously doing is stealing content. Real talented artists never define themselves as such.

I don't consider anyone a "pro" developer. I merely consider such talented people as a "developer" for those who truly deserve the title.

That's kinda what I said, and I meant that people advertising themselves as "pros" often are anything but what they believe to be.
And this argument is valid in pretty much anything.
