So..do I actually have to put effort into getting items? Cause that kinda blows.

The wand was fun to get. After that I said to hell with the digging.

Standard greencloak, rucksack, egg rod, or are there new items?

Cool items. I grabbed myself the egghat with dex+1 speed+2 and the Arcane Shield.

Lol the two swords are arguably the best elemental swords now, totally worth the time. The wand is pretty good as well since it previously cost mages alot to get a very rare wand which had pow/wis on it.

been digging for atleast 3 hours, still havent got the wand...

It was designed to ignore players on a specific list.

yeah, previously. I'm so glad they released the wand, it basically, in my opinion, drops the value on Scepter of Lightning Arrow down to like a Ring of War.

Kale's silver tongue in subtle action.

But i agree their values would drop. They were there for rarity reasons and also that there weren't any cheaper alternatives that could compete with them stat-wise. Wand of Sorcery will be used by Warriors and Mages because of it's resists and stat bolstering properties.

That would of been if we could of prepped them, which we can't.

Still good even if you can't prepare them.

StormYs 04-05-2010 04:12 AM

I wouldn't use them in combat that's for sure xD

Is prepping that much of an issue for you on an ogma weapon?

That's a little steep, but I can see what Tig's trying to do.

I'd love to see limits on how much certain weapons can be prepped. Even better, I'd like to see random limits. Sort of like Fable with the odd alternating amount of Augment slots (not sure of any other game sot compare it to). ie, when Thunder Sword can be prepped with 5 scrolls, another can only be prepped 3. Totally random. Items with a lot of slots (10+) can become special event items.

Confirmed by Tig- the unpreppability of the swords is un-intentional. I asked him this on Easter, i didn't ask if he would fix it, though.
