Yep and i think this review still would help : http://www.funtouch.net/Actu-3430-Fr...Online-Classic.

between they updated the US store description saying 1700+ but teh french Store still sayin rejoin "hundreds of players" it's less impressive.

sometimes it's still laggy in some areas and the auto-unstick is annoying when it happens but well more there are players more there is fun :p

Any update on ththe android version. Nearly a year since Stefan said it would originally be released

trifle 11-24-2010 08:34 PM

Lol, just got myself an iPOD Touch 4 Gen.
I find the whole thing a bit annoying, since it looks like I would have to pay for heads and other graphics I made in the period of 2000 - 2003. And then there is the interiour of Burger Refuge that I made for Graal Classic some years ago.
Strange how a money making game can just use it's old players time and skill without a thought.

It's coming closer to release :) It's working but we have to find the good business model / payment methods.

Seriously, why don't you make it free, haven't you milked enough money out of this dead cow already?

Microsoft didn't stop charging people for Windows just because Bill Gates could afford a new house or car. Business is money-making, and Eurocenter is a business. That dead cow you refer to is still very much alive, too. There are thousands of players logging on every day, a lot of them prepared to spend money on the product. That says "success" to me.

Yeah but the thing is even though Windows was released years ago it still receive updates weekly and major overhaul too.

The lesson here folks is Capitalism is a major pain in the prick.

CharlieM 11-24-2010 11:40 PM

So what you guys are saying is, you want Stefan to put his time into making a game and perfecting it so its bug free, to give it away for free.

Analogy time

You spend 3 months making a house, spending all your spare time into building it, are you just going to give it away for free?

(also don't tell me a house can't be built that fast by yourself. My dad and I built our new house in under three months, and its rather large actually since I designed it and im not very money conscious when it comes to my designs. But its also the 3rd house my Dad has built, the previous 2 he did without help though.) Moral of that rant getting married is stupid

Dnegel 11-25-2010 12:18 AM

The cow is taking a short break.. for now

There are a lot of immature people on there that like to show off naked pictures of themselves, do Graal porn, and well yeah.

Overall the game is pretty good, I still prefer Graal PC myself though. It needs more updates then just hats and stuff.

That's what gets Eurocenter money, am i correct? The more kids, the better. Some day the player will get frustrated about getting enough gralats to afford a hat, and cry to their guardians to buy them gralat packs. Or, if they have the free version, they have limited choices. And buy Custom pack. Same goes with House pack and Guild House pack.

It's kind of impossible to play without the house or custom pack (from a social point of view), so that's some money right there.

im happy graal iphone is doing well but it seems overwhelming with that playercount. found some of their forums it's ridiculous. I was wondering how come it seems like no Graal Iphone players post here? Is that because they dont have GraalOnline accounts? Such a shame.

Zeke_iPhoneGP 12-01-2010 01:00 AM

I don't know if half of them even know pc graal exists.. yesterday I was talking to someone: "zeke ur on pc graal rite?" "yes" then this other guy walks up, "pc graal?!" :noob:

Seeya 12-01-2010 01:16 AM

Give me a job on iPhone. I'll sit on there all day, and advertise PC to the public. That's probably why I wouldn't get the job though.

Graal on the iPhone is such a great example of Graal being a success due to better marketing (The AppStore does the marketing for you, essentially) and a much more reasonable pricetag. The only obvious thing to do at this point is to reformulate PC Graal to a similar plan and watch your income double, if not more.

Apparently they want to switch over to that model... still waiting! I imagine it's going to happen with v6. God I can't wait for observer mode to be gone for good.

I never see any advertisements for PC Graal. I have seen quite a few sites promoting the iPhone version but never the PC version.

I always found it ridiculous that trials had restrictions on showimgs and stuff; it breaks a lot of things for certain servers to the point where they're ugly or nonfunctional. Do ugly and nonfunctional things make you want to buy a game?

Hmm, like what showimg restrictions?

Observer is retarded. Especially crap like the forced resolution(which isn't even a resolution, it's just blackness when you stretch your window too far). Ghost mode was equally dumb, which sounds a lot like what you're talking about. Most servers couldn't even be played in ghost mode because of scripted links(like G2k1, you couldn't leave the starting room lol, and tilesets didn't load). Who the hell wants to watch OTHERS play a game, and with Graal I use the word "play" liberally.

I am a Classic iPhone player. In fact, Classic iPhone brought me to PC Graal. I was wondering, if Classic iPhone is this good, than i should go try PC Graal. So i did and here i am. A happy camper.

Leave now, or you'll find yourself happily camping here for hours on end, and camping for years. Leave. It's horrible. Get out while you can.

I didn't know Graal existed on PC till I'd been playing for around 2 months.
What the iPhone server really needs is an FAQ team. The help section is really outdated, so new players have almost no idea what to do.

Unkownsoldier 12-01-2010 04:35 AM

Graal is good. I do Graal all night long.

Not really, new players ask more experienced players in Balamb Isle. Or, the tasks when they start out help them learn.

I don't see how as nothing can be traded or at least it couldn't when I worked on iPhone. Maybe gralats for 'shield codes but that's it.

That's what GPs should be doing if not then compile a list of frequently asked questions that are available from the menu.

Not everyone scams new players. If your there, sometimes experienced players do help them.

Geno 12-02-2010 08:09 PM

the ONLY fun thing to do is scam new players. and there isnt even that much you can scam seeing how hats and such are not even dropable items.

the stables in graal2001 was the best :(

Believe it or not, I would gladly take that position if it was offered to me.

Didn't see this post lol. Azrael said the same thing about the GPs, but most have PMs from friends only and the few that don't almost never respond. A list of questions would be very long to include everything that's asked most, and that's where FAQs come in.

n0n021 12-05-2010 10:41 PM

I tried to ask all my PMs when I have been a GP, but you can't imagine how many PMs/Seconds a GP receive when he don't have "PMs From friends only" like me before... lol :)

Trust me, I get spammed plenty just by being in a popular guild. I know it can't compare with being a GP, but I dont really mind spam too much.

I logged way too many hours in the stables, that's where I got 75% of my hours. They might as well of could it my house. I had the most hours and most money just sitting there idle.

Crono 12-17-2010 03:52 AM

Why doesn't the iPhone 4 make full use of its higher resolution? Just wondering...
