wouldnt they technically have to be a citizen of some kingdom,

they had to be born somewhere....
and what could you possibly RP about without being in a kingdom...
basically you would have to have some allegiance unless your a wandering merchant, and I dont think many poeple would want to be wandering merchants, and like I said why would you buy armor from someone else if you can get it safer from your own kingdom.....
and if I remember Stefan said it will start out as a seperate area on G2K1 but without its own weapons and stuff,
but if it gets big it will move to its own server with a direct portal from G2k1...
and to prevent lotsa crazy peeps joining the server and running around maybe you would have to do something in order to gain access, like there could be a list of account names to admit and if your not one of them you coudlnt do anything but maybe watch likey uor invisible or something, or you cant leave the first room,
or it just wouldnt let anyone in that isnt in a kingdom...
cus I mean when it comes down to it,
whether your a soldier or not,
you still have to have some kind of allegiance

For the most part, places such as Dustari do not Have a lot of room to build a complete town, though it could be done. And another thing, the character I RP as is a traveler so I am aligned under no one. Though during Zulithe's rule as king of Dustari, I was a chancellor for him, but left.

Trust me, so far, it appears many people here is against your idea. Like I said before, it sounds nice, but is it that necessary?

Are most things in graal that necessary?
I mean different swords and shield and bodies and heads arent that necessary, we could all just walk around as link but with different names and personalities,
alot fo tehs tuff in graal isnt that necessary but we have it for the fun of it, for the novelty I guess. The novelty of being able to customize your character, armor would just be further customization such as a sword, shield, body, and head are.
Technically graphics arent needed it could be text based,
then there would be more RPing..
its becuase it makes the game more fun and interesting that we have alot of the stuff we have. I think hats were a greta idea that got out of control becuase I dont wanna have to have a certain head just for a certain hat, I would like to wear that hat with any head...
and I would like to wear certain armor n any body,
not just body.png one reason why i think it should be seperate then the actualy body is so that it can overlapp. rather then your whole body be armored, I might be wearing body5.png and have some armor but my body shows through, with body3.png its a stupid shoulder armor thing and a messed up main part of the body, there are tons of kinds of armor and I dont wanna wear that one, and you can say make your own armor body, but I dont want it to be the body I want it to go over the body so that the body can show through and so that the armor is actually an attaniable thing somehting that has to be made and something more customizable

Note fact: walking around as Link, like, with exact graphic similarities as you imply could result in copyright infringement. Bodies are necessary for Graal; I mean, who wants to go around as a disembodied essence? And not everyone looks the same,which is why we have different bodies. To add customizability and a tiny little bit of realism.

If you want a body to have armor then make the body file and submit it to Stefan. OR, you could actually sit down and take the time to do it yourself! WOW!!! Armor is purely pointless, because once it gets established, then people will want to take it a step further and add actual qualities to it or use it as a scamming front. Even I know that the n00bs outside of the rping will want armor and will beg and whine till they get it.

It is something not needed and its just a waste of time to include into rping.

they could make it so its free...
or so it cant be sold, and the only way to get it is from your own kingdom, or they could make it so it sjust like a head/shield/sword
and that its like a part that makes up your character,
and its free,
that way thres no scamming becuase everyone has it.
that way i could be using body5.png for example,
but have on body armor over it,
so you could see mah armor and my body,
whatever I still think if its implemented properly there wont be such a big aruption of complaints and scamming.
I mean its just like any normal addition to graal..

and I stated in my post that started this thread that it could have a use lol, but the whole point of the use for alittle bit of realism and people will have to think and change their tactics because you will have to get behind someone or the the side of them anyway.. Its not a bad idea and it could be great, its just that people who are bad bad men lol and have nothing better to do would try to ruin it and it could turn out bad but its not a bad idea... I.E. It could be used for things other then its purpose which would ruin it and make people say its a bad idea..
so in order to stop that we would have to make sure it didnt get in the hands of ultradumb stupidnewbies! And makesure that only RPers and such got it.
