Pft, I have not been banned in quite a while, and I have zero infractions, and I am a total jerk, so clearly that claim is unsupportable.

I don't know about Stefan and unixmad, but I've got an inbox limit of 512 messages. That doesn't fill that quickly.

I do agree it'd be nice to have bigger inboxes though.

Not sure if this is a suitable alternative, but why not just add a cap on space for your account? You would have X amount of space total, and you could have space for all your private messages, but it would come at the cost of having less attachments.

If you were to remove images that are old (Some people could have them dating back for years) it might free up a lot of space, but space may not be an issue (Space as far as room for data on the overall forum)

Attachment Statistics
You are currently using 405.7 KB to store 11 uploaded attachments.
Your messages could be included in that overall space.

Completely unrelated.

They probably have the same as me, or more, and I have a ridiculous amount. Never filled it, but I empty mine often.

Less talk, and more Inbox-size-increasing please.

To change or increase or decrease the maximum number of stored PM allowed in vBulletin, go to AdminCP (Admin Control Panel). In the left pane, click on “Usergroup Manager” under “Usergroup” section. Then select “Edit Usergroup” in the drop down list and click on “Go” button next to the user group that you want to change to have more, or less PM storage space limit. A full options page for the usergroup selected will load. Scroll down to “Private Message Permissions” section. You will see “Maximum Stored Messages” option. By default, if never changed before, it will have the value of 50 in the text box. Increase or decrease the value to the number of PMs you want to allow members of this usergroup to store. Click on “Update” button at the bottom when done.
