Another point I have. When Jagen and Lance were running GK. They listen to the players and decided what needs to be done. They didn't ignore it and say "this is what needs to be done". Once they left staff stopped listening to the players almost altogether. Thats when the playercount started at it's downfall.

They may have been corrupt here and there... but at least they made Cyberjoures or whatever money, and didn't chase it's customers away.

Adding +1 ac to a stupid pair of gloves or making aengus bow usable along with implementing ogma bracers isn't a "WTF OMG Z0MZERS IMP0SSIBLE" job.
It shouldn't take 4+ years for small things like that.
Its the least that could be implemented while we are waiting for stuff which wont be avalible for awhile.

An item which beats Bakers and Marks completely should be worth atleast 40-50ec's, and thats actually me being a bit generous, i would rather have them as rares released like the rest of the dragon items (rdaf/bdaf...)

Yes, dragon hides are said to be extremely tough, however, we cannot just update an item that has already been released and out for quite a long time, just because of it's name. The update would change it's value from the current 340-400dias to over 800 (if they change the ec costs aswell). It's better to keep the current dragonhide gloves as they are, and create new, coloured dragonhide gloves, which fall into the dragon colour themed items and be made collectable rares or highly sought after ec items.

So what if there's a huge gap in the prize values? Raven didn't HAVE to give 2nd prize, it's not a bad 2nd prize anyway. Amadola, in my eyes, isn't worth that much, it's looks aren't great and it's stats are hardly sought after, so the only thing keeping it valuable is it's rarity, which could change depending on future event releases.

Staff don't NEED to listen to players requests, because players minds are corrupted, the very reason this dragonhide discussion has started is because Xaphan is being greedy, he wants more, a better prize.

Who says the players aren't being listened to? They are being listened to and things are being decided. I think the gloves don't need an additional ac+1 to the stats, period. You don't have any idea why the playercount fell, and I guarantee you it's not because players stopped being listened to. Jagen and Lance didn't even listen to the players, they would consider their ideas and if they were good they MAY or MAY NOT act upon them, but they surely didn't listen to the players. The ideas posted are still being considered. Just because there is a bad idea that is going to be ignored doesn't mean that the players aren't being listened to.

You guys do not understand why things are not being accomplished like adding ac+1 to gloves or releasing an Aengus bow. There are many things that have to be taken in to consideration before such things are done. If GKs development team just listened and acted upon every idea suggested GK would be out of hand, even more so than it already is. So here is my suggestion to you: Stop thinking that you know what's best for GK, because you don't.

And RoT blows away MSoG, Speed Amulet AND Dragonhides. Comparing Dragonhides to different types of equipment that have similar stats isn't a good comparison, because you're "giving up" different things. If you wear a speed amulet, you're giving up being able to wear demon stone (at least while you're wearing the speed amulet). Dragonhides' stats would be dismal if they were on a ring or an amulet, because by wearing that ring/amulet you lose the ability to wear better rings/amulets. Since gloves generally have low stats, Dragonhides' stats are actually not bad.

I still don't see why people can't be happy with prizes they get. There are good ones and bad ones (items) on the server. You can't fight it or have the stats changed to suit your needs. So what no one will buy them. Store them or something. Someone will eventually come along who wants them.

Everybody probably didn't leave cause they were pissed. But I know quite a few people who lost interest and left because they were not listened to. Nobody pays attention to GK anymore.

The people 2-3 people who get paid to keep gk alive should. That is Stefan, Unix, and Bjorn... Stefan has been doing his job a little. But to my knowlege Unix and Bjorn Does crap, but work on G3d. If they are actually doing stuff, they should post on forums like Stefan Does.

Why should Dragonhide Gloves be changed? So Xaphan could make a bit more money off of them? I could say change the stats of my Zormite Shield or anybody could say about any item they own. The items are the way they are because somebody thought they were fit to be. Let it go.

I'm not sure, but I'm fairly positive that Björn doesn't get paid. Quit making up lies, Unixmad as well as Stefan are both very busy doing other things like developing the actual game and website. Do you even know who unixmad is? How can you sit there and say that Björn and Unixmad do crap for the server, except they work on G3D? UNIXMAD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. Not only that, but it's not unixmad's job to work on GK, it is his job to manage GraalOnline. You sir, should get your facts straight and stop pulling them right out of your butt, because if you don't stop, that's right where my foot will be.

Look why should stats be changed on something just so a few people can sell the item for more. I could see if it was a common item.
