Because around Halloween most things begin to start getting cold and freezing? I know my pool froze over the night before Halloween.

That really doesn't explain why ID is halloween themed and Golden Edge is no better suited for halloween than ID is. I still wish they made Vampiric :cry:

Ice and snow is generally associated with winter :noob: Halloween is in the autumn period... Yes, it's the start of the cold season, but i don't think ice is at all associated with halloween.

And before THAT it had almost no value. Or rather, it had the same value as any item you can craft (plus a diamond or two i suppose).

People from that time had the opportunity to get an ice dagger for the cheapeast value- it's original price.

People from the time after (when it had "quite a bit of value") had the unfortunate situation of having to pay a lot for ID's.

Now people can get it for the price of 25 pumpkins. That's more-or-less nothing. (just need a watering can to farm pumpkins... unless you think killing is faster).

I've bought several ID's from the 2nd time period mentioned. I've gained 1 from halloween shop. I never crafted one since I never thought they would become rare (and I didn't even have one for myself because i preferred blood sabre or some other weapon of that time).
I think it's better how things are now. If anything, I hope they release it again for some other holiday.

Well once halloween shop is closed there goes your shot at getting a id...so they will go back up in price. not like this really hurt anything. People will find anything to complain about. Let them.
