As for the server, I think it looks pretty good. At least it is a server that the staff are putting effort into, and I wish them luck. :)

I remember I had to log on Faded Nations RC when I was manager of UN and demand them remove UN from the playerworld... all of UN....

The Players don't like "too diffrent" servers, well maybe you? But not ALL of the players. To get a lot players, we'll have to do things that 90% of the GRAALpeople like.. instead of doing some way diffrent server that only 10% will like.
I've been around graal MAYBE not as long as you, but i know that a lot of the players still want those "basics" stuff, events, quests, jobs etc.
We're not copying Unholy Nation, for example: we will have a bunch cooler/harder jobs, quests and a awsome CS system.
It might just be the name that confuses you "Unholy Nation" and "Faded Nation". But personally i love the name :P

This sounds like a love spell a girl put on me once. Malinko has worked with some pretty good scripters so if he is dishing out their work, of course he is going to look like a NAT god.

Sounds like a crapload of has-beens getting together to make another UN, sounds really boring already.

#1: Some of UN's level's aren't really "First class", so being a LAT there isn't anything amazing, or to gloat about.

#2: You have a bunch of people who WERE something on graal. YEARS AGO. I always thought it was best to have the oldbies, until I got oldbies back, and they asked me: "what is this new 'gs2'?", "hey man i forgot how to gani, help pls?"

#3: Malinkos still around? Havn't heard about him since his little whoopsy a long time ago..

for what cause does my work do here, levels are deff stolen, some of those are mine, which I made ages ago... Not all of them, but if you actually check the tiling on some of the outside levels it has extremely familiar tiling style to me, which I used at start.

I went on Faded Nation maybe 3 weeks ago, and I got stuck on a black screen with my player standing in the middle of it.

Wan and the other that has been working with me for a very long time should recognise the obvious patterns, some of these levels are direct copies of what i've made, I can't remember for what server tho. Login on your server I can see, besides some houses almost 90% of the server, paths tiling and all the work is made by me. Some by wan.

I KNOW i'm comparing FN to UN all the time, because IMO Unholy Nation have been the most popular server on graal for ages now.
Maybe it has also to do with that i've been on UN for ages and want something new..


#1: Some of the new levels on UN are "First Class", like Isle of Bane outside levels.

#2: I don't really think LATs forget EVERYTHING on lating if they're gone for a year or so XD

You claimb that you "DISCOVERED" the path style or the detail style, IF you did those in 98, then you might have "DISCOVERED" it, but really..
Everyone detail that way, everyone does the paths that way.
I have seen many LATs levels in my life, i can assure you that 90% of those does that detail style. Problaby 50% does that path style.

This is why you will never get your server up, I never stated wan as a god, you simply stated that you never heard of him and I told you that he's a very good level maker.

those levels look familiar for some strange reason, dont know why

being the explorer that I am, I have stumbled apon this playerworld called "Faded Nations" the overworld looks pretty good in my eyes, outside that is, inside....I have seen 2 insides, but obviously the server is in construction or it wouldn't be hidden, would it? the outerior is pretty good to me, I'm not a PW Reviewer or anything, not put out to be that, but I think you should start focusing on the INNER beauty of the server, meaning inside the unfilled homes! I see plenty of levels, pretty much all outdoor besides the main town, which inside levels here do look good. I don't like the name "TownMain" for a City/Town but hell its your server, you can name it whatever you want. besides a few mishaps. The Levels look good, thats all i saw, didnt see NPCs or any of that saucy stuff, but my outlook on your world in a 45 minutes view, your server has potential to be pretty decent i'd say. Thats my opinion.

On another note.

You can't really complain about the arguements started, you asked GRAAL people what they think about your server and the name yes, it really is crazy which you did create a server named Faded Nation, which all your major staff were Staff on Unholy Nation, yes you should have known you were going to get a response as such you've gotten, they only see one thing out of your server, its nothing to do with the make. its that one word. Nation which would think them to believe it'd be a rebuilt Unholy Nation. even though it might or might not turn out better, its still that.

I gotta say.. FN is a little boring at times.. and im not so sure about the inside of that one pub.. But im in love with the safari hunting system.. Even though its down.. i have hunted before a while back... Faded Nation has a real big chance.. I believe when they go hosted it will drag alot of players from UN,NP,Zodiac,and Era... if FN gets alot more things to do.. there is no doubt that this server will be highly enjoyed

Malinko has had Major issues with most of the Graal Online population, but does that lack his ability to develop? I think not.Players holding Grudges against him is what destroys the threads not his name.If some new player to the Graal Online Community wants to admire Malinko then let him do it?What does it have to do with us or his playerworld.Malinko is a good kid that has had many issues in the past, that I choose to leave in the past.

Now to the main Question, What do we (I) think of Faded Nation?

I personally Despise UN and its staff, I was NPC Admin there for a bit at one time.The server is garbage and NEVER accepts change and improvements.The only Addon they allowed me to add was that dumb Scroll thing that replaced the warp rings.So trying to BE like UN will never get you anywhere.

The screen shots look Nice and I think with Motivation this playerworld can out beat UN any day.VERY promising, keep up the work XD.Hopefully you allow changes and keep up with Graal Times :D.

Isn't it funny how nearly ANYTHING that actually had promise, decent graphics, some good starting systems etc., dies after a month of activity. But everyone doesn't want to flock to these wonderful servers to help them get to where they deserve to be (Classic List) instead they flock to servers like Unholy Nation (trash) and...lol...Faded Nation (no comment).

There is absolutely NOTHING unique about Faded Nation.

As long as they don't start 1 million different projects like some other people;) , they wont have an issue. Just because a classic type playerworld doesn't have all these fancy systems, Elk n Dusty type graphics doesn't mean its doomed. A good community creates a world of Joy and entertainment.

To be honest... it seems playerworlds did the best when they didn't try so hard to be unique, and everyone followed the 'classic-type' server. Look how many servers came from that.

There wont be any levels alike the current one unless they've taken a whole playerworld from another LAT.

Killerouge, there are MANY things that makes Faded Nation unique.
You will have to wait untill the the server is 100% completed, to find out whats unique.

..and DustyPorViva. I say the same thing.
Servers that are "too" unique, will fail. It is really a fact.
