I still think the best way in this case now is the election.

Sam, I understand your point, however, it is not only me that supports him. All of the kingdom leaders, including Alan approves of him so you really can't blame the entirity of this issue upon me knowing him irl. ^^ So having said that the most stable and consistent leader that approves of him which means a lot.

Why are you afraid he will not win? All I can see he got a lot support.

That is not the fact, it is the principle of it.

That's exactly the reason why we do the election now, to make an example for further problems like this. We do not want each month a new leadership of any kingdom. We want to see that leaders are more responsible with their sovereign function and liability.

I don't see how elections fix this problem, USD'ing of kingdoms, or length of time while in a king's position, and I think everybody could agree with me on that. ^^

Yes you are right, the reason why we have the election is because of the players demand as you can see in the poll. Maybe next time the administration chose a new leader. ;)

Yes and you've voted there too.

Yes, it is. Everyone who wants to "buy" a kingdom now would think a few times more about it and doesn't even do it because the risk is too high that he will loos his money for nothing.

I understand what you say, Björn, BUT how often has the USD purchase of a kingdom occured that you know of? I mean.. Someone offered me $500 USD to take Samurai, but I declined the offer. Still, USD purchase can still mean A LOT of support for voters as well. Depends who has friends that are willing to do it or not. Having said that, there is no sure way to discontinue it from happening.

Sure, but it's too bad that not everyone thinks that way else there wouldn't be such things like now.

Unfortunately there is not any sure way to prevent it :(

I believe administration should choose the new leaders, for the main fact some players do not look at such things as Scamming, Ban History, etc. etc....(as stated by someone else earlier) Either way Im not upset, or complaining or what not.

Normally we check all new leaders and deny their leadership if there is something not okay.

The GK Staff already broken the tradition of election by resigning kings on zormite.
Than just be fair and do that everywhere, and ad something like a cup-d'etat option to kick the king if the majority of players is against the current king.
=> automatic kick and vote system, no descisions of staff or other kings
