Hey thats a idea that might work. although i heard stefan might give out "guest" accounts that are basically gold accounts with limited time.

I just got a trial saying "how i can get away from this island", I told him they would need to upgrade his acct and he replyed "wat is a upgrade i have acct already idiot!" some trials obviously dont know that they need to upgrade to play GK, then he went on to saying "items plz" over and over, its annoying something needs to be done now its so damn stupid

Again as I said graal needs to add a trials homepage so it explains to the their limits and the benefits of having a gold account.

Yeah, everytime a trial asks how do they save and I say you need to upgrade to a gold account. And they always say "whats that?" or "thats sucks".

They should get PM's disabled on trials i hate it when they pm you saying can i have some items, i know they can only send once every 60 seconds but its still annoying.

How about they stop them from talking altogether. Mute them..heh. Lets just move the key stuff and make a new town thats central.

Or make trial accounts have a "time trial". Like the account will last a month and then they will be forced to upgrade. I'm sure thats not the first time the idea has been suggested though.

That wont work trials dont play for a month they play for 1 week maybe 2 then get gold or leave.

I think bringing the trial island black will probably make them upgrade more. You can do so much more on trial island than in bomboria. You can craft weapons, shields and you can mine. It gives them a better taste of what GK has to offer.

Well, mabey we could have some more playerlist options then. Add a tab for trial accounts (classic players appear in this tab on gold servers too mabey? idk), and add a option to "not recieve PMs from trial accounts."

i think if they make a trial island that actualy lets you feel the fun and ALL the things in GK and away from the menace of P2P (summon + flute >:) oh what fun) they would be more incuraged to buy.
Example give them good items(temporarely) and all the good side, theyll be like I WANT MORE :O!!!!!

obviously they dont understand when they first come on that HUAAAH YOU CANNOT OWN PROPERTY, FOOLS! Why is it left up to players to repeat the same things over and over? "No, you can't do that...you need to leave bomboria for that" "No, I'm not going to give you anything...you cant hold onto items" "Nope, I cant take you there, you need a gold subscription" So many people coming in and out....it annoys the players very quickly and thats why theres all the hostility to the trials x_x Why don't they know? Why isn't there a little description of what they can and can't do? Make a little trial account briefing, I think it would fix the whole problem

I don't see that as a problem, better way to get players... Thats the biggest catch to grab peoples attention and bring them to your business. The whole free-but-not-free thing.

This is just a thought, was if they combine trail island and new bomboria.
You can do everything you could on trail island but instead of being asked to upgrade on the bed you come to bomboria but you can't leave the town. It gives the trials a full veiw of what graals like and looking at the p2p players they'll see what they can become. But we'd have to make the new central town for this idea to work.

Maybe. But they might already have items that they've made from the trial island.

its like when they got given a sword to start with. they asked for a better sword so i keep saying you got a sword and they say a better one then. and after that they say can i have your sword can i have your shield and your using it at the time.

Well then they need it understood that any items they get they cannot keep unless they become gold. again graal needs to get off their butts and have a page setup for trials to tell them what they can and can't do and what perks come with buying gold.

Yeah thats annoying. They ask me for a good sword. But the only sword I have is my Inferno Sword and they expect me to give them that.

Well maybe if they set a warning do when they log off it says:
"you will lose all your equipment and levels unless you upgrade"
somthing like that.

Exactly. It will make them wake up and smell the coffee. It will mean the people who can't be bothered to pay will leave at that point. And the people who really want to play will consider paying for it.
Because right now trials don't really do the starting quests. They just beg.
And as far as I know since there isn't the last boat quest where you go into the bed anymore so I asume it they don't actualy get told they have to pay to go on further.

There has to be a warning to tell them. that way they will wisen up.

I think that pretty much everyone in this thread who posted agrees that something needs to be done... I dont see how staff can say no after this responce, we just need to pester them
