The terms "player" and "staff" have no clear boundry on Graal. If there was, all development would fall to nothing since no one gets paid for what they do. Motivation usually only comes from power on Graal. Sorry :(

you forget that if someone dosent like someone if they pk them then they get points taken off over and over again, but then again, that might work out just because someone who pks isnt a good helper, nevermind
still i might have missed something.. |

Oldbies Minussing otherwise good FAQs just to be jerks.
This is all highly hypothetical, but you'd have to be in the FAQ's party to minus them in the first place. While this does open the possibility of a jerk making a new account, begging for assistance, then Minussing the heck out of that FAQ, that would be mitigated by loads more positive support. Then again, nothing's perfect. People seem mostly happy with FAQs having very limited power and being appointed by the FAQ Admin. |
I can't express my opinion any simpler than this.

If you have an issue with a staff member on ANY server, go to the help desk and post a complaint.
|
I'm sure this has been said before, but this would be impossible. Every server on Graal aside from the 2 gold servers were made by players, and yes this does include classic. This means that 90% of Graal's drawing power was created by those who you are claiming should not be allowed to be staff, and to ask Cyberjours to pay people to run their servers (As opposed to the way they have it setup now where people pay Cyberjours to have their servers hosted) then they would go bankrupt within days. Not to mention that a staff member payed by Cyberjours is just as prone to abuse as any random player off the staff list. For the most part people are hired for two reasons:
One being a developmental or leadership skill, the other being close ties with people who are already staff. This means that the same people who are hired as staff on servers now would be hired if Cyberjours payed their staff (due to the fact that Stefan and Unixmad lack the ability to clone themselves to run every server) all they have to do is learn to script, make levels, gfx, or just get in good with people who are already staff. In short...It wouldn't make a difference abuse-wise, but would most likely put a deep hole into the already empty pockets of Stefan and Unixmad. |
