Hmm a good reason were to show Unixmad and Admins, that there is no reason to restrict some themes here.

Most of those who oppose the rules are over 18.

Accept the borderlines here. It doesn't matters how old the active users are. Check how many guests are reading the forums. It's a platform to get information about graalonline. I am sure, parents of younger players checking the forums too. And not everyone who read the forums, will register.

Brandon 08-16-2006 11:22 PM

Let me reply by quoting Unixmad:

• We are the official forum and we can not allow slang langage, personal attacks, too much spam and anti social activities.
• We are a registered company and we need to control the content available on our computer. That's the law and we need to respect it.
The official forums are focused on Graalonline, our goal is not to provide a general forum to discuss about television or cinema but Graal. Even if it's not our goal to provide such discussion, we have allowed a non graal related forum and a private forum with relaxed rules.

Some of you don’t like to respect these rules and want to discuss more general topics. Creating such forum not connected to the graal administration is a good idea if the goal is really fair.

Guests can't access the Lounge. ;)

Only a real retard would lie ;)
The point of this thread, if you couldn't figure it out, was to show you the forums true demographs. So far there's more people 18+ ;)

True, I made it anonymous so people would't lie, at least not on the actual poll, so that I could show the mods the actual demographs of their forum. The results are supprising, I expected it to be closer. Maybe this will at least make you think, after all, the most improtant part of a business's marketing is to reach their target market, and the demographs that will use their product

*Wonders how many other members figured out what you were doing, and lied about their age*
;)

It was plain as to why you made the thread.
Note: I am not saying people are lying, I am just pointing out that they easily can, especially if they see an incentive for doing so.

excaliber7388 08-16-2006 11:38 PM

Well, graal relys on the player's word for signing up for an account, so it should be good enough here. Of course, these official forums don't have the same rules as the gae. Maybe they should have to sign a contract with blood? Or send you my drivers license?

I know, but this poll is a follow up to the threads in the Lounge.

Anyway, I believe that the rules should be lighten up, but the age of the members is irrelevant.

Not needed, because even if you were the grandpa of Stefan it wouldn't matter.
Sit down in the non smoking area of restaurant and smoke a cigar. Ask the other people in the room if they have a problem with it. Even if 98% don't have a problem with it, or would also like to smoke, be sure the staff will ask you to leave this area.

Is it happy in your little world?
The rules make it hard to enjoy the forums, they make it hard to discuss topics that are typically discussed, and are too restrictive. Other official game forums aren't this bad.

Not violating any rules doesn't seem to confer a post or thread much protection from deletion or closure.

19, 20 on November 25

Mykel 08-17-2006 04:11 AM

19, 20 on October 10th.

On a sidenote: I realize that these forums are supposed to reflect the content that a 13 year old can read, but many of the rules have absolutely nothing to do with actual age resctrictions.

Oh, and what was wrong with the rules 3 and 4 years ago? How many complaints were being placed that suggested a change was needed?

Tempist_p2p 08-17-2006 04:16 AM

17 as of August 3rd

Well, it is up to the mod :whatever:
Anyway, I just hope you start thinking of your real demograph here.

Most Graalians are older, I know this for sure (look at the daily birthdays, usually most are 16+)

Let me correct that for you so we can take the quote you made of unixmad more seriously.

The official forums are focused on Graalonline, our goal is not to provide a general forum to discuss about television or cinema but Graal as long as it's positive and has nothing to do with how bad some playerworlds are, how bad players are, or the mistakes of a global. For those kinds of things, ALTHOUGH THEY ARE GRAAL, you must use the support ticket. So Graalonline forums are for positive Graal discussions. Enjoy.

OMg 2 kids who are under 12 o.O
Did they ask their parents to play graal?
