i think having him shoulderpads like that would make him cooler :p also, i think the proportions are good :o now it just needs details xD

I redid the shoulders. rendering out a 360 spin of the model now. The cloth have to be a little longer.
About the details, dents in the armor etc, I am not sure if I am going to do that.
I am going to use this character in my final year project as one of my modells in my modelling reel. So I need to be done with the other models aswell before I start texturing and sculpting.
Thanks for the constructive crits.

trifle 02-27-2008 01:33 AM

Heres a spin animation (took me 2 hours to render out). I regret to say that my laptop is not a renderfarm :(

They are 3D models, not pictures.

Wicked, though I'm not sure I like the color choice much.

trifle 03-12-2008 04:49 AM

Thanks, and cbkbud I agree a bit, but since I'm trying to replicate Boba Fett, I have to use the colors he had.

Yeah, so far the chestplate is really the only part that is finnished, the others are just color codes showing how it will sort of look like.

trifle 03-13-2008 12:16 AM

I rendered out a spin of it.

Only Boba Fett has that helmet, Jango's helmet is blue, silver and black.

Thank you very much guys.

I just finnished the helmet now:

Antenna looks kinda weird, but otherwise, amazing!

trifle 03-14-2008 03:01 AM

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.
cbkbud: hehe, I didn't design it.

trifle 03-16-2008 07:37 AM

Almost done, only got the knees left.
I could add some more noise to the clothes aswell, but I need to focus on my other models a little now to be able to finnish my project.
WIll probebly come back to this one in the future though.

cbk1994 03-16-2008 07:39 PM

Seems good, clothes look like they need some more texture though (especially along legs)

I'm doing a modelling reel (a video showing of character models).
I have to do 4 characters, Boba is just one of them, I'm also doing a cro-magnon woman, man and child. I am almost done with all of them. They are not as good as my Boba Fett model I think, but I will be posting them here when I'm getting closer to finnished I guess.
