All i know is you will either need Custom Bodies or edit a bit the graal ones to match the tileset style... Or make like taller Characters that can bend and do all kinds of things.

As for tileset, Start making different Grounds. Like for example you could make grass ones, Desert ones.. Towns.. You'd jump roof to roof or just walk on the street etc..

We were discussing ray man style, characters, with the floating feet,head and hands. And then thinking of implimenting a evolution system to it, so you start as a short stumpy thing and grow :D
