I'd be willing to bet he is aware of my dislike for him, considering I have told him to his face many times.

I don't think people get upset by his age so much as it is his age combined with how he speaks to the younger members. Kids dont like someone tearing apart everything they say, and having to defend themselves, especially if that wasn't the point of their post to begin with.
(This assumption based on the complaints I have seen).
Members also get angry when their threads go completely haywire with some debate with Kaimetsu and someone else, when their thread wasn't put here for that intention (also based on what I have seen).

Kaimetsu is very good at debating, no one can take that from him, but every single thread isn't made for him to debate, and not all kids/young adults even like to debate issues hence why they get angry when their thread turns into a debate.

I think I've been fairly open about my dislike of him.
First of all, nobody made fun of his age, they simply criticized him for being so old and posting only to increase his ego. That's fairly immature behavior.

Why make fun of his age? Moon Goddess was twice his age, and she doesn't seem to be able to measure up against his witty battles. In many ways, Kaimetsu was a fabulous guy, and most of you disrespected him because of his arrogant way of ruining your threads. Perhaps if you were a little more respectful towards him, and accepted that you were wrong when you made a mistake, most of his arguing would be finished within the first post. But instead, you people have too much pride to accept that you are not always right.

I didn't hate Kai, I found his arguments funny but just like GRAWL THE COMIC, it got old. Sometimes I like to go on the forums to actually read about a certain topic, but when I get to page 4 it's just Kai defending himself over something absolutely stupid. If he really is that smart he would get away from graal forever and get a successful job and throw his money and arguments around somewhere else.

IMO, Kai wasn't looking for respect, he was looking for debates/arguements. He admitted more than once that he liked doing so. Alot of times, things that were started, never should have been started to begin with.

Secondly, Kaimetsu was simply trying to stop us from using the same, fallacious arguments everytime, which we inevitably did. It may seem like I'm bolstering him and i'm quite sure he didn't argue to teach, but he went at every argument with logic.

If these kids don't like his posts, they can bloody well ignore him. That's the beauty of forums, you can selectively ignore things. They don't have to "defend" themselves at all, if they learned that there wasn't a death shadow behind them bidding them to read his posts. Also, this being a forum, threads should be allowed in depth investigation. Are you saying if somone makes a suggestion, we should all just post with a "yes" or "no" answer? **** that. I only spoke to Kaimetsu on #gscript and from what I got from him he was an easy aproachable decent guy. I'll miss him.

Believe it or not, you guys need a good kick in you all think you're better than everyone else online. Kai got you down to earth and instead of using his hardcoreness skills to kick your ass he used his degree in English. :p
