Everytime Konidias makes a thread, I just about cry.

I remember when I got my first CC Fraud (lol!) P2P it cost me 80g, and then I got another 100g and I got one for Neil (JubeiSaotomeX) from some other guy, who it turned out wasn't Frauding (Good for him, but sad at the same time, 20$ US for 100gralat on 2k1, I think 2k1 went downhill after they changed the bodies, I remember when they made the go-karts, someone screwed up the tiledefs or something.

I liked mining, and the people who would come up and try to steal my rocks. I'd either kill them or, in an attempt to kill me, they'd kill their partner. Once, a saint and a PKer came up and tried to take them, but the saint accidently fireballed his own guy and lost his sainthood which enabled me to attack them both easier.

Rock stealing was the best. There used to be one dude though who was so friggen good at it, and I could never figure out how he'd do it. He'd just hang around the side and watch me hit rocks, and then would somehow always know just the right time to run in and smack it once, getting that last hit in and so the rock went to him. I wish I could remember who that was... Spekkio used to be pretty good at it, too, if I remember correctly. :x

I think I was the first new person ever on 2k1 in it, everyone had like 300 hours and I had 2 (note: this was only like a month into 2k1 so 300=most on server)

Railroad Workers were a ton of fun, when we could build railroads anywhere on the server, it was great ahaha

YES! I was never a railroad worker, so I myself could only build in specified areas, but I was totally upset when they did away with that! Whatever the problems were, fix them and definately bring the railroad building stuff back. Ken Takino (whom I believe was a RW) and I used to have so much fun with that... :p

Who remembers GGuard? Haha.

everyone shared accounts back in the day

i'd get banned and share with someone, toran or spi would get banned and hop on ours...etc.

i had 8 people on mine at one time once

Man, there are a lot of old memories... heheh. I hope to make fun new memories with my revised server.

I'm going to be upgrading my account again shortly (since I found out I can use neteller to upgrade). Then I'll actually be able to post more than once per day... and I can actually get on private servers.

Hopefully Stefan will hook me up with a server... He said he needs to get things worked out with the current 2k1... I mean they have TWO servers and neither of them are in use, as far as I know. (g2k1 and g2k1 dev)

I just can't afford a server right now, nor do I feel like paying to revise 2k1. I'm trying to make a server that will help get Graal back on it's feet. I don't think I should have to pay MORE money to do it... especially when there are free servers that aren't being used.

I'd use Oasis, but then that would mean Oasis is done for good, because I doubt I'll ever want to pay for a server, and if 2k1 uses the Oasis server, I can't work on Oasis, and I won't have a free server for it. What I'd like to do is focus my work on 2k1 right now, get that released and running for a while, and THEN consider picking up where I left off with Oasis. But at that time, I don't want to have to rent another server and re-upload everything. So I dunno, we'll see what happens I guess. I hope Stefan comes to a conclusion soon at least. Then I can know what I have to do.
