Oh, after reading the title and the whole thread, I finally found out what this is about <.< I should read those threads better
|
I bid $952,743.22
.... ..... ...... ...... ...... If I had it. :) |
$952,743.22.000000000000000001
Ha ha, pwned |
I wonder if someone was able to raise enough money if they'd actually sell it to one of us?
|
How much $ do you guys think unixmad made with graal? :O
|
Well, there are a little over 1000 VIPs (which are just the ones who have signed up for the VIP Guild), which would be at least $19 for each member, up to $44 for that subscription that includes VIP Membership, so it's $19,000 to $44,000 for just those VIPs who are in the VIP guild. Of course, this isn't very much compared to the gobs more of Gold and Classic Memberships over the years.
So, altogether, a lot. |
I was just about to scream "I want on board!" when I read it was an april fools joke... you got me xD

REDMOND, Wash. — April 1st, 2005 — Microsoft Corp. today announced it has purchased F.R.-based Cyberjoueurs, one of the world's leading online game developers, further demonstrating Microsoft's commitment to providing the most innovative interactive experiences available on its Xbox™ Live video game system. Cyberjoueurs has been the mastermind behind some of the most popular online games, including Graal Classic, Graal Kingdoms. Under terms of the $135 million cash transaction, Cyberjoueurs will today begin creating exclusive console online games for Xbox.
In a statement made from Paris, France, where the announcement was made, Stephane Portha chairman and Stefan Knorr technical director of Cyberjoueurs, said, "Our mission at Cyberjoueurs has always been to make the industry's best online games for the widest possible audience. Teaming with Microsoft gives us the best opportunity to accomplish this goal. Microsoft's dedication and commitment to game creators, research and development, and to gaming innovation made them the obvious partner to take Cyberjoueurs into the future." "We've always insisted on pushing the envelope when it comes to creativity," added Stefan Knorrr, Technical Director of Cyberjoueurs. "And now we get the chance to create for Xbox." "This partnership significantly broadens our already outstanding portfolio of games that will be available for Xbox Live. And it also broadens our reach internationally as gamers around the world have demonstrated their fanaticism for what Cyberjoueurs consistently produces," said Robbie Blach, Chief Xbox Officer at Microsoft. "The last time I was this excited was the first time I picked up a modem and played a game from Cyberjoueurs," said Ed Flries, vice president of Xbox Game Content at Microsoft. "As a gamer, you could hardly wait until Cyberjoueurs's next graal version was announced. You didn't know what genre it would be, but it didn't matter because you knew you were going to love it." With today's announcement, Cyberjoueurs becomes the latest member of a star-studded lineup at Microsoft Game Studios, joining such prestigious worldwide developers as Bungie Studios, the masterminds behind the smash hit "Halo™," named Game of the Year by Electronic Gaming Monthly. Cyberjoueurs's first creation for Xbox, "Graal Xbox," is expected to reach store shelves next spring. Lol, look at the bolded parts, I found that quite entertaining ;) Oh, and by spring 2006, XBOX 2 you nub. |

When related to Graal, i think that sentence makes no sence. |

Shame it'll never go open source though. I look forward to Graal3 actually having the same, if not more functionality than graal 2, but you can't even remap keys, which is really annoying. |

Wow... this is where the time from graal production is going....
Hey, instead of improving our 2D client, let's fill our gullible players with shallow dreams of Microsoft's award-winning production! LOL XD Quote:

x-box sucks ps2 owns!
|
I admit, I dont have a xbox, and the xbox will be old when the xbox 2 comes out in november as (Xbox Next) even so.
|
No, I don't believe all the ps2 players are newbs, I just believe the majority of them aren't good. The only thing that would ever make me go to xbox 2 is if halo 3 was for xbox 2 only.
|
oh god, what would they put in halo 3 now?
|
Next Windows version will involve Bomys.

Since Graal is based on Zelda, they should make a sort of Online Four Swords Adventure (GCN) type game. (Didn't they try and make a graal for GBC? I heard it really blew.)
|
Yah but I dont think it was ever released I rember playing it with a emulater, It was...ok the gfx and such were on par with any other gameboy game of its time it just didnt feel like Graal becuse it wasnt online.

Console gaming is horrible. I don't get how you people can pay around $300 for a system that can't do anything unless you put in $50 games. Bleh.
