Yeah, this kind of behavior, even on the forums, will not be tolerated. Consider yourself posthumously demoted into the abyss of nothingness.

I am never on tag. One such as myself does not need to justify why one does or is such things.

Roleplaying is the whole point of kingdoms. Being in a kingdom is not mandatory!

That's true, but when you're in a kingdom it's a community which you can use to learn stuff from, and to gain and share. I find this is often the case which interests people more than RP.

And the medical plan of many jobs intrests people more than the actual work. If you want to make a group that isn't really a Roleplaying group - this is more in refrence to any leader- please make a global guild and give the kingdoms to someone who won't waste them on something they weren't made to be. Monoploizing them only helps to further pollute the fragile ecosystem of roleplaying.

Also, is there such thing as a Kingdoms Admin anymore? That would help solve these problems in my opinion.

They were suggested, I can see a couple of problems with the idea, though.

Well it worked on 2k1. They helped in what kingdoms needed to RP (if anything) and kept on top of kingdoms to make sure they were indeed roleplaying. And if they weren't, then action was taken. But for the most part just having that person on top of things was enough to keep everyone RPing, that and it was fun.

Lets make this rule.. Not RPing = Ban.. (Pillory)

Last time I checked, role playing wasn't mandatory. From what I can see, you just hate the crescent pirates in general.

b) I dont want to ban them, this just cant be said by a kingdom leader..
He should be removed and a new government should be installed.

You bring back this old thread and say something like this... if they don't want to roleplay at that current time then they shouldn't be on tag.

They shouldnt.. Not roleplaying is fine.. but if your on tag you should role play.
If you dont wanna role play but you do want a tag: a) Start a guild b) Play another server

I understand your opinion, and I don't mean to cause offense; and I didn't even know that I ressurected this topic, but it seems wrong to focus on the pirates like this. I've seen quite a few people from other kingdoms talk off-tag-ish (Warning: Not a word) and I've even seen a few leaders do the same. I think, then, a good rule of thumb would be to ask the particular person to RP when it is needed. I think that is fair, otherwise, allow everyone to do as they wish?

Errr... You shouldnt ask somebody to role play, they just should, if they dont know what it means or what you need to do, explain them but dont say: "YES LOL YOU CAN SAY LOL ON TAG LOL" If you cant..

This is what is wrong. These 'leaders' shouldn't be killing RPing, they should be enforcing it.

Thats right, and people, like Alan (as you can see on the screenshots I made) can not role play.. Maybe they should put Ziro in charge again :(

When you are on tag, you are considered in-character. I don't know about you, but I doubt that a Pirate, or anyone for that matter, says lawl (or however you pronounce it) in everyday speech. As for the whole "other people do it, so why are you picking on me!?" garbage: just because there are others doing it doesn't make you any less guilty.

"But your honor! There are tons of other murderers in this city! You can't put me in prison because that would be unfair! Go get them instead!"

Not likely to happen though :( I've tried and tried loooong before. I had no support from any staff of being put back in after the incident happened. And Alan seems to like the job anyways and be online periodically- he probably won't be giving it up for a while.

So I just do what I can to help pirates from my own part- RPing, taking the job of Harbor Master (though I havn't been on much lately, it's been because I've been temporarily occupied). I can't really do much- not even look down at people who don't RP and don't want to. That got me in trouble with Valder before I became Governor.

As you can see on the screenshots, Ziro, the Pirates can not role play.. You are a fine role player, join Dustari, Zormite or Forest..

I want to help pirates though. Pirates are the first kingdom I joined back on G2k1.... and they're where I've had my high and low point on GK. I miss roleplaying with people in pirates such as the Rackham family, Gozelda, and my buddies Cove, Gecko, and Ryan. Obviously, none of them are in pirates anymore, and most don't play GK or even Graal anymore.

Well, Alan does show more effort for RPing than other pirate leaders have (MarkB, Valder [though Valder wasn't a bad person/leader- MarkB was]). And he has resources to throw around items for events- something I always had trouble with, coming up with prizes. Like he had made some short story of sinking ships with a guy named Darth, and finding loot and spreading it towns on pirate island. Well, the only "story" part was finding loot... I doubt they found loot on the ships, and they probably DID sink them. And he DID leave it in towns. The only weird thing about it was the guy's name- Darth? Isn't that a Star Wars Sith rank? Darth? x.x I dunno- names always mean a lot to me. I like good pirate names :)
