Yeah, you really want get this in a week.

Want something better than MS Paint? Go get paint shop pro 9.0 and download a patch if your REALLY cheap. That has a lot more stuff that you probably won't use.

No way, adobe is better than psp. However each has their own advantages and disadvantages.

Also I know that DM2 will have some nice stuff for pixeling once I get round to coding it x_x

I find it hard to script and graphic at the sametime. Both take a lot of work (For me anyways, I'm sure there are some Asians who could do both and not have to pratice) but I can only focus on one.

Oh, Arn, you might want to try drawing out things on paper, scanning them, seeing how they are, and then pixelizing them.
