Looks awesome, keep it up.

I hate to say this but I must:
Stop complaining huh? We pay to play this game and find it worse than before. I believe its the Graal Online Staff's right to know that we think the 30 Tester version had less bugs and seemed better.

I just don't get how sometimes I can't chat.

falco10291029 12-27-2004 09:30 PM

Only thing better about this version was that there's monsters, but our old weapons wouldnt work on them. Wheres the fun in that?

Were paying for this, so I think we have the rights to express our thoughts on the game.

Zickle 12-27-2004 10:26 PM

No, you are paying to play Graal Kingdoms, Zone, and to save on Classic and to TEST hosted servers. The VIPs pay to TEST Graal3D(if chosen). You, didnt pay **** to Graal3D. Yes, you are the customer. But this is a FREAKING BETA not a game, A BETA. So grow up and make wiser desiciouns. Unixmad is right. They can make it "better" so shut up and if you don't like it make your own game and you try to keep customers happy.

I myself liked the beta. ITS A BETA I EXPECTED BUGS AND LAG! And I got that, but it was overall a nice start.

Actually you do not, not on these forums at least.
Your only right is to stop paying.

And what a marvelous right it is. I highly suggest exercising it.

unixmad 12-28-2004 12:25 AM

This is interesting to hear from someone that were not paying for his account.

This forums is going worst each day.

Stefan me and all the Cyberjoueurs Team have worked very hard to give Graal3d preview, Finish Zone, make events for Graal Kingdoms, prepare some nice events for New Year and what we get back is stupid comments like this one.

I am not so disapointed because the majority of graal players support what we do and i have received lot of nice Email about Graal3d, Zone, New script engine ...

Are you dense? He was defending Graal. Read the post in context.

What? This is to be exspected from you, it's your JOB...

Darlene159 12-28-2004 01:20 AM

I suggest that you people learn how to use cunstructive comments, instead of all this "Graal3d sucks", "It's not worth paying for", "I wasted my money", and all the other little snyde comments.
Tell them what you feel but in a positive way! Is that so hard?
If you see bugs, post them...if there is something you think would be better if done another way, tell them....if you have ideas, tell them...if you dislike something, tell them...but for crying out loud, do it in a postive way!!
Tell them what you like about it also...

BETA=Something that works but has bugs and is still being worked on, most of you know that so I dont understand what the problem is.

And, Loriel....people are allowed to give their thoughts on these forums, but there is no shame in doing it in a polite way, giving suggestions, saying that you dislike something and giving a reason why...not just saying "this sucks, I'm paying for this, I am not reupgrading for this...blah, blah, blah"

People need encuragement to stay pumped up when they are making things.

I think G3D looks great, and I commend the staff that worked on it for the progress that they have done so far. Yes, there are bugs, but I am certain that they will be all worked out as time moves on, and I will enjoy watching the game progress further in the future.

are you idiot?

noones job is get stupid comments.. you can expect from a person make the best he can in the job, and not make what you want. So if you will comment something, comment in your point, respecting people hard work and other people opinions that can be different then yours. Noone that have a job is a slave. and its pretty difficult work with game for a community, noone is the same, so people expect different things.

In my opinion the game is pretty cool. If you play in ski for some times, and you walk around you will see how much you can expect for the world, and its a cool preview for what will come.

GryffonDurime 12-28-2004 02:20 AM

I'd like 3d more if...

1) The lag problem was adressed, if the server lags with 3 people on, what will it do if it becomes the next Kingdoms-level server?
2) Magic was added- I'm the magic master, and in 3d, there are sooo many things you can do with magic.
3)More information was released about the Roleplaying World - not directly a comment about the beta, just saying...
4) If your character could turn....I dont want to have to change camera views to have my character turn...I mean, all he does is forward and sidestep it looks a little...bad.

It funny how you claim me to be an idiot when you yourself cannot even understand such a simple post as mine...

And MoonGoddes: Why would he care for such lame posts made by 13 - 15 year old kids? Really, what do they know about betatesting?

13-15
old kids opinions on an online game are just as important as anyone elses...so why wouldn't he care? they are not too young to know what this is all about...

You would think that, but apearntly not... :whatever:

Krakken 12-28-2004 05:22 PM

I never got my e-mail for the XMAS VIP after I did the survey. Spark, can you help?

Complete negativity is not wanted nor appreciated, constructive comments and ideas, are....13-15 year olds are perfectly capable of doing so.

T3CK 12-28-2004 07:39 PM

I know I'll probably be bashed and/or banned for saying this, but why would I want to play this game when there are other much better FREE 3D RPG games out there that I can play?

Crono 12-28-2004 08:52 PM

Only because unixmad seems to read this thread and commented I will put serious input-

I see good potential (sp?). If done right you could make this really fun, I dont know exactly how though.

Graphic wise I can't say much, framerates are low for me but then again I have a Radeon 7500LE so thats obviously why. I LOVE THE SWIMMING. The character's swim animation looks good and I just love going underwater because of the affects. Maybe have some treasure hunts :D?

The nature looks good, I love watching the water from a high point.

The town is OK, needs a lot of work (BUILD A WALL) but suits the job for now.

Characters looks ok, you need a perm first person button and make it so that when you look up while in first person, you dont see any hats or caps or anything. Make it so characters can climb! Thats a must in 3D mmorpgs.

And come on, the snowmen look like turds. Atleast give them mean eyes.

Thats just my random comment since a server on another mmorpg is down >_>

Yes, but they have proven to be more capable of posting crap...

Maybe so but they just don't have that same "feel" as Graal. From all my experiences with other games, Graal easily wins for community and for making you feel part of the game. I just feel like another statistic on others.

kgonzalez 12-29-2004 05:48 AM

All I have to say is this.

Graal 3D hasn't even reached a 10% mark, all there is is what we call in the industry "playable". Meaning, we have a character in...good, we have the ability to place models and world objects, good. There is no actual game yet. The game design is extensive and i can assure you it won't be like any other MMO game out there. Once you see what Graal 3D is going to be capable of, I'm sure all of you will like it.

This XMas special was just a "playable" present, just to give you something to see. It does not represent the full product. Please don't let a games early stages make you feel that the completed product will be bad.

for those of you who made positive comments on the snowman i thank you, i wish i had more time to work on it but i believe we got good results on it for the 2 days i worked on it.

Well we can see why you got the PR Admin job.

Now hire some RP admins for good measure for 3d's future RP World and especially for Kingdoms. That's some more constructive input.

haunter 12-29-2004 06:30 AM

It all looks very blocky, flat, and jagged... Was it made this way to cut down on system requirements?

When working with a full-fledged 3d game it's imporant that things always look pretty from every angle. I know it can be rather difficult when forced to work with a low poly-count. But first thing people are going to notice about your game now-a-days (always before purchasing) is how it looks. I can say that that's what I look at first.

Anyway, I dont know who you have on your design team (models, textures/skins, levels) But Im sure you've found people who know what they're doing. Just keep at it.

Perhaps my expectaions are too high... I was looking for a sort of Morrowind Online, visual wise.

I think the idea of a Graal3d can work, mainly because of the easy Playerworld making capabilities. Just remember not to make it too easy to start one (Like with the 2D ones, $100 for a server for a year no questions asked?) or everyone will want to start their own and help will be spread too thin. No one will want to team up, because they wouldn't be in charge anymore. Perhaps have the PWA review potention PWs BEFORE they can have a server. Quality over quantity... Then again, quantity is probably making you more money. :P

how long have you been playing graal?

Krakken 12-30-2004 11:04 AM

Okay, I've tried it and it's fantastic. The only thing that needs fixing before it will be playable is the low FPS a lot of people are getting (I don't get it myself). I have a hunch it may be because everything is scripted?

Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but it seems that the only people getting slow frame rates are using ATI Radeon cards? I haven't seen anyone complain about Nvidia or any other make. Might be just me though.

I have a Nvidia geforcefx 5500 256mb no problems. And your assumption may be correct!

Hopefully, as I'm sure it will be a lot easier to fix if the problem is just for a certain type of card - instead of a range of them

Indeed, i have a 128mb Nvidia FX 5200 and its good for me. I think everyone should post their card, and say yay or nay for performance on the game.

falco10291029 12-31-2004 01:23 AM

I use an nvidia, i dunno which one, and it works fine for me, except for the occasional minor lag (which i'm sure anyone has).

Nitkizi 12-31-2004 03:21 AM

Didn't someone [Projectshifter?] say that they had an ati and once they updated to the newest drivers everything was fine? Maybe people should start updating!

Matman58 12-31-2004 05:31 AM

I agree a lot has changed since the 30 Person Beta Test. I enjoyed that. Though I also enjoy this beta test. I am still looking forward to exploring the castle on the island across the waterway. The only thing that disappointed me was the weapons don't work right it seems. But it don't matter because as it has been said it is a BETA. So it is a great work in progress I think. Hope to see more stuff soon.

Krakken 01-01-2005 12:36 PM
