Actually, fear harms your food stat. Personally I believe it should harm your ac.

Suggestion: Instead of rolling for stats, why not allow players to actually DECIDE based on a (and this may be a bold, new idea here) set amount of points! Then- toss potions out of the window. Bye potions! Make speed a little less tied to Str and Dex, so that mages or priests are a viable archetype, and there ya go.
Allow wands to give pluses or attunements, and allow some spells to be cast without wands- why would I need a wand to make my Hands Burn? Shorten casting times, and, yes, speed up projectiles. Rethink the house building system- there should be several choices for the outer appearance, and special event coin scrolls for each kingdom's type of house- a Forest House can put a small patio at the top of it's branches above it's second floor once remodeled, a Dustari house gains an extra room on the bottom floor, etc. Pets go away. Now. They do nothing but lag- redo the Horse system, perhaps you can "summon" your horse ala...well, I can't mention that game, but just summoning your horse and it'll run up. To spur RP war: Kingdom Technology- a kingdom should be able to make technologies others cant, which slowly improve via an RP admin monitering it. Airships (not the puny zepplins), Iron clads, muskets, and other such fun things. Portals: If not a spell, then there should be fixed portals that can go from one to the other of it's set. Spells in general: Priestly magic needs to be seriously adressed, as does Arcane. Magic should be a viable form of combat that one needs to specialize in to some degree. It's annoying to see every barbarian with a wand casting Summon Avatar. RESET |

Lots of good ideas, maybe to encourage starting with a certain class make class only kingdoms, unless your that class you cannot join, sort of like a thieves only guild, or a mage only order. :cool:

Maybe each class should have one special ability?
Alchemist - Only to be capable of using alchemy skill + spell. Priest - Only capable to bless weapons (all other classes however can still pray.) Barbarian - Only class capable of using woodlore (id organics.) Warrior - Only class capable of using smithery (id weapons.) Thief - Only class capable of stealing. Definately would distiguish classes, majorly encourage player co-orperation (along with a need for each class in kingdoms) and the economy as players could pay for their services. |
Update the mage rings,add "Faster Cast Rate" so that you will be able to cast fast. Make it so that some wands DO GIVE BONUSES. Make it So priests are the fastest blesser. Make a new class called Archer and make them have bonuses using the bow. Make barbs have bonuses when using a sword. Make ratings on weapons,such as: Light weapon,Medium weapon,Heavy weapon. Barbs are the only ones that can use heavy weapons (i.e Hammers) and maybe implement two handed swords. That would rock. Make it so thats brigids spells actually have a decent gfx,i personally would love to be trapped in a spidersweb,but sadly it wont happen because all we get is a black ball,same with wall of Thorns. Implement these idea's,and ill be a very happy Ben.

Warriors should have the fastest/strongest attacks with swords,Barbs with Axes/Hammers/Maces.
My personal "faveourite want": Make me a Jedi,with force powers and invincible lightsabre.... It was worth a try? |

Thieves need to be sneaky right? What the heck would it look like with a thief picking someone's pocket while the warhammer they hold is clanking about? Daggers only for the thief, this would make such nice weapons as the FiD, ID, and Inferno dagger a much sought after weapon for all thieves. For the warrior such weapons as the darkflame, inferno, diamond force and blood sabers are worth having. and i guess the barbs could be left with the waraxe, warhammers and the broadsword since those are the heavy looking weapons. |

idea for monsters:
3 types: peaceful, partially aggressive, and aggressive peaceful: only attack if you attack them partially aggressive (aka smart monsters): only attack if your level is within a certain range of theirs ex: less than 1.5* the monster's level aggressive: attack no matter what |
Make a testing GK server, add new stuff there daily and if it gets out of hand just reset to a certain time of opening, then folks can say if they want it on the main server or not.

Monster idea's arent that decent,because no monster is clever enough to notice someone level. Aggressive monsters and non aggressive is ok,but not partially aggressive. Im still rooting for my ideas on weapon classification and such.

I agree, And make Balor add fire resistance not magic resistance, Doesn't make any sence at all with flaming aura doing fire damage.

Calm down, smart ass. It was just a suggestion. Anyway, con isn't that good, poison someone with 30 con and he'll be screwed. Some people need Con (Plasma), Some people need Str (Bosh/Taikun) and some people need Pow (Ed / Chris).

All right i know this is an old thread, but it deserves to live again.
And i have suggestions too: 1) Remove the kingdom selection screen at the start, it does nothing but determine you clothes. 2) Add more staff maybe? Cause it seems that everytime we complain about nothing happens the staff say they are busy, so this must mean we need more? Just a thought.. 3) Add grocers and a market place. It would be so cool to have your own stall on a big market place along with others. This would make it more interresting to trade than those boring trade tables. 4) Add more craftable items. Also, add a Smithing stat, and the higher it gets the more items you can create and you can also create better ones. You should also make some ordinary shops where you could buy tools and basic weapons, instead of having to craft them yourself. Then it would also make a purpose of being able to craft magic items with special materials and such. |
Of course Graal Kingdoms accepts suggestions, though a lot of GK players should support other suggestions and if a majority agree, then it will be looked into.

how's about making it so that when you craft an item, it can have random bonuses, so you can lets say craft "Test Shield" and it normally has ac+1 and that's it, what if from time to time random bonuses could be added, like you craft the shield a 2nd time and youg e tlucky and get it ac+2, or ac+1 dex+1, or in an even rarer case dex+2 etc.
same with weapons, also, an alchemy shop that sells recipes would be nice |
