i have seen the ball and can reproduce it practicaly on command ... its whats called an easter egg and easter eggs are hidden every where from books and movies to games and tv, these eeggs are usualy put in as a joke or just out of bordom.

No, the soccer ball has been hard coded to appear in any level named level1.graal in that position. It is left over from older versions of Graal, when the training level included a level called level1.graal that had a soccer field in it.
