Two things:

1) All submitted graphics are property of Graal Online. You do not have an legal claim on the matrerial to copyright it.

2) I am fairly certain that simply putting (c) whatever does not make it copyrighted. I was under the impression you had to register it. As you would have to register a trademark.

Still, I maintain my stance that is most rude to use things that other servers have advertised as a unique feature.

No progress was made in this post, I truly hope the globals did something about this stealing issue our newly submitted servers have been going through.

I think that having more servers and keeping the same amount of globals or autority was not the best way to start. Actually you lost nemesis, and he was a big part of the classic servers.

Are we only relying on the PWA team (2 people) and the common graalian to look over these things like stolen things from hard working server? Or is something else going to happen? Maybe get someone to take nem's spot and get a PWA leader to start moving things along, or is the PWA going to have to keep going directly to stefan/unix? I know this is semi-off-topic.

Now as for copyright to graal well if it must be all of graal property i would like to see action take place for this matter. If someone uses stuff from Graal Kingdoms actions would be taken quickly. It seems unfair to the other playerworls we have to keep repeating our selfs not to use stuff we made for that server. If graal is soo copyright and now since every playerworld must pay for hosting i belive the rules stand wise. This kinda matter really pisses me of and alot of other peoples who are working under the graal servers development team. :\

Every manager is loyal to his/her server and shouldn't be bash at or have there server insulted and we all know the manager would take actions. mabey she was wrong about bringing up the past but still isn't it true? Not true. You can use whatever pops up in your webgifs folder, unless it is official Graal Kingdoms images, then you need Stefan/Unixmad's permission.

It seems mr. Spork was in a bad mood and having a bad day, i logged on after being told they had some hats that Lady Auron had made for Doomsday, and saw mr. Spork in the process of threatening to jail/ban a player for whatver reason he could conjur up.
I said i wanted Lady Aurons hats removed and on investigation found they also had NPulses hats, so i called Moonie and my Co Manager on to see, by that time i had been disconnected twice and banned for the above reason.
If i were to ban everyone that didnt like Doomsday, there wouldnt be many Graalians left would there.
Anyway, no i dont believe its legal, otherwise why did i get in trouble for having era_ gfx?
I dont believe we are allowed to pull whatever gfx are in the folder and use it.
In this instance if they had simply talked about it, this wouldnt have arisen, but instead mr. spork having a bad day in a bad mood took matters into his own hands, and then they proceeded to come to Doomsday to harrass me more.
Mr. spork continually swore at Moonie , more proof of his inability to be in any power whatsoever.
I'm surprised she isnt banned also.

I don't like spork, personal run ins with him in the past. I think he worked on N-pulse at one point and he wasn't exactly the most sincere person I've met on there....far from it.

I wasn't there when the complaints took place and I can't exactly take anybody's word over anyone elses's, but I think the whole ban-situation may be a bit too harsh, but it really depends on the actions taken by you to have these graphics removed.....

I don't see a problem with it. All of Graal's playerworlds are serving one purpose and that is to attract and keep players on graal. GK's graphics were professionally made and are on a gold server, so you can't use those unless with permission, and that is understandable.

Well, just put it this way. Each server with there graphics they dont want others using just put servername-file.fileformat. Which Doomsday's hats were labeled in that way. People should have atleast a high enough level of respect for peoples graphics. I think Spork has gone threw puberty and not getting anything in return it seems. So he's having his bad days until he gets the bottle of lotion and opens it. ;P

'were writing,' so they are not posted or displayed anywhere yet? I believe stefan himself said no server can "copyright" an image, they all belong to graal once uploaded. Otherwise, I am absolutely positive I would have posted a rule objecting to using any images from any other playerworld in specific without permission.

Dunno, I thought the globaldocs idea wasn't a very good one, but it could have been uploaded there. Not sure. Anyway, it's like stealing scripts in that it is disallowed.

I really hope they get a global graphics team round up to come and clear up these problems. Unless there's a area where you can post stolen stuff and someone take action. :o

1 hats are public domain and 2 doomsday stole the dice npc of aylad so mabey he should sue you

1) Please show me where it says that anyone can use a PW's personal hats

2) DD has had those dice on their PW for a long time, are you saying they stole them from a new PW? Unlikely

i think they all kinda went their own ways...

I know the one member (Kyle Odin) is our gfx chief... and i talk to the head of the GGT on aim sometimes (Zen) and he doesn't seem very motivated to gather a team together again...

and besides, i think the PWA 'should' be able to fix things like this... but the team isn;t big enough to solve everything, and isn;t given the rights to really do anything about it either

not that i support servers sharing graphics... i think that it is pointless if every server was allowed to use any graphics... then all servers would just use the same graphics, and then they'd look alike, and that would be kinda pointless

Hmmm personally now i don't belive i'll upload anything else on graal for a while since the rules here must be so out of control. Cause serously if i release all new things me and my developer has been working on and i see any recolored images/or images been resized i would be mad personally and take my anger out on that server. It's the lack of creativty which puts down graal for most playerworld have to always watch out for other servers stealing stuff. Now since there soo many new servers popping up don't you belive 1 out of 37 server would use stuff from another server. And people like the griffin server makes me sick sorry to say all doomsday asked was to simply remove the hats. I hope some high global sees this and call in some action or atleast change some of the PW rules for stolen content cause after all we are paying for these servers and it would really piss us of if we see our work spread all over graal.

Uhm, if anybody is a GM, it's tyhm, he has the tools and authority for it. Last I knew Angel was on the GST.

Angel is a GST, even though she's often recognized as more than just that.

I do have level 1 RC correct. But I dont need anymore power to investigate problems do I? If needed I show Unixmad or Tyhm the proof and if they feel it's fit they take action. If I was just GST. I wouldn't been told to handle PW Problems,I wouldn't have access to help people on the Support Desk. I dont know my official title and in fact I like not having one. I just do what I can to help graal. Is that so hard?
