Bah you all suck, as do all of Graal's GFX People. If you want to see good Graphics you have to go to good people, for example Proffesional Developers that earn their money by making Graphics.

So until you can get a paycheck for your job, **** please.

BTW I really don't like GFX of SA, simply because it looks like a bunch of filters to me. But I can't do that, and it's original so I give Soul Blade the credit he deserves.

Your GUI needs some work but your style of bodies is very nice I would love to see those animated and made into gani's. if your tileset follows the same style as your boddies you will be good off :)

What? Someone doesn't suck at graphics because they are not considered professional developers and get a paycheck. That's like saying you can't cook because you officially don't work at a restaraunt. You can see good GFX from people that are not professional developers, as is anyone with a respectable amount of talent can always show good developmental skills, wether they get paid or not.

Not when you are doing pixel art.

I'm a little late, but:

I'm always impressed by Soul-Blade's tiles. They have a very distinctive desolate feel that contrasts Graal's usual bright happiness perfectly. I think his skill with drawing object sprites (players, chickens, whatever) is slightly less strong, but there're not at all sub-par. HunterTerryon: You do seem to have some talent - assuming you really did make those graphics. Since graphical analysis is largely subjective, it's difficult to give any kind of definitive comparison between you and SB.

One way or another, I don't think either of you are the best artists in Graal. If you were competing for that title then I could understand the ferocity of your arguing, but otherwise... it proves nothing. Even if the battle had any significance, words aren't going to decide the victor. If you wanna fight, just post some graphics and let them speak for themselves. Calling each other names doesn't prove your points.

Tell me what filters I use, you bafoon, then we can talk.

Loads of tile errors,
The only tiles i'm fond of is the trees and the water is ok.

The character is just hillarious, i liked the first one alot more than this even though it sucked.

Grass and grass detail is just eww...

The dirt is like wtf, ugly as hell.. you only got 1 tile for dirt?

The cliffs are flat, they have no dept.

Soul Blade, just make arms a little bit shorter, add some life to the eyes and fix the legs up a little, and you'll ahev an awsome characters!

You Cave Tiles looked Filterd (The ones you posted long ago) more over they looked like glass because you just rotated an image for side walls and north-east/north-west walls.

Graal does have a few good developers, and only 2 good Graphic Artists. No I am not one of them (Just in case someone thinks I meant my self).

Well one who are the 2 best gfx artists? if I were to say I would pick koni and kinatt.Also I have never even seen one thing you have made ghetto do you make graphics or do you just bring down others I was thinking top ten because there arent very many good gfxers in graal I can barley even think of ten good ones that still are active but I havnt really seen any of the new people.

There are some wonderful graphic artists that you people probably don't know about, just because they don't have gold. So quit saying stupid stuff like "Graal has only 2 good graphic artists."

if you won't say it then i will. SA sprites are just plain ugly. I love the tiles though, a mix of secret of evermore and secret of mana works great =P dirt does need some more work done but i guess it works. also with the waterfall it looks okay with lighting effects but im pretty sure you could do better :D

I don't think the SA sprites are that bad. They aren't perfect, but I don't think they are ugly.

I don't understand what in hell they find so ugly about them. I look, and I cannot see. I look again and cannot see. I repeat 100 times and cannot see. I redo them, and the redone look much worse then my sprites. I compare them to SNES games, and other games, and they seem to be of the same quality. I look at them in the gani, I look at them in the game, I look at them in the pixel program. What in hell are you people seeing that I am not? Why don't you try being specific and constructive? Or should I just drop the project and go to Oasis like I've been thinking about, because my sprites suck so bad?

Your looking at them through your eyes, It is hard for a person to spot his/her own mistakes.

I'm not siding anywheres, nor am I stating anything about your graphics, I was just making a statement.

Some people will like your graphics, others will hate them, there is no pleasing everyone.

Maybe I'll take some time and look at your sprites later and see what I can think of them, I haven't really looked at them enough to conclude anything.

Does anyone hate Konidias' sprites? No. The choice for me should be obvious, I just follow the thin road of hope that I can make something better graphic wise.

I dunno what it is about them but I can't stand them they don't go with the tileset at all.Maybe not as detailed as the tile set so the contrast is horrible plus the outline needs work on.

well, umm... there's one 0.o' kinda...

Look for threads in the PW section... one old one is named "End of Ages" and the newer one is "End of Ages is hireing!" (or something like that)
We have not shown many screenshots publically... mostly all we show is random shots of the overworld, so we don;t give anything away
