I think the Bonecrusher should be justified and stripped...

Bonecrusher should be deleted and replaced with a not-cheesy weapon. Then the problem is solved.

Umm, I don't understand still why he should get something for unpreparing a bamboo rod Brad won.

brad was letting me use the bamboo rod (we were also gonna use it for wis + 1 to see if we could get 150 base GP)

because it wasn't an ordinary bamboo rod. It was a special one and when they went to unprep it it became a regular one and that wasn't supposed to happen so they were compensated untill they get the special bamboo rod back.

(i think he knows what kind of rod it was, he was the one that used it mostly. x.x)

Toran, that isnt really right, Brad should of never given you the bonecrusher, it was something for ONLY him as a replacement for his lost bamboo, as soon as it was traded it should of been deleted, and why should YOU get the bamboo? brad should and since hes banned he cant get it, so no one gets it.

Brad doesn't use weapons. He GAVE it to toran as a gift. Brad has every right to give HIS items to people.

Hey, Brad gave me the bamboo because he quit and no one wanted to buy it, and I changed the pass on the Rahtnab account. Someone changed the pass for brad and he got on, obviously wanted to play again because I was strong, he said I quit... I told him I was leaving for 6 weeks and i'd be back, pffft... -_-

I'm still confused on the matter of you using rahtnab. If you could upgrade it, why not upgrade your zell12/zell account and play on it?...Why did you have to play on Rahtnab?

Because stefan screwed up when he restored me, he moved everything to rahtnab, and left. I had no time to get it moved back to zell12. -_-

On another note, nothing happened to it when it was unprepped except it lost the +2 base it had which is nothing to be compensated for considering other weapons that came + based (this includes the first versians all 3 hammers) have been unprepped due to different circumstances and such also but you don't see people getting jack squat for it either.

The only reason Ancient Bamboo rod reset to Bamboo Rod was becaues it did not have an archetype or some crap. Brad said it's happened before but he's been able to get it restored.

But if it's happened before why did he unprepare it again...?

he wanted to be able to use it and me to be able to use it as well. So we went to the unprep pool, and we had James come and witness the unpreparing of it and show him that it did actually have more stats than a regular bamboo rod. He said "Fine, let me unprep it, if it screws up I will have it restored." and Brad agreed, it did reset, we got "bamboo rod" back, and james said "hold on. let me go get something for compensation until I can get it restored" and he gave brad a bonecrusher (I had left).

DX was there when we unprepared it as well.

James giving items away, for got sake i had perfect gloves of sorigs but someone was enchanting them and cought there stats

its fast
and easy to use and run about
but War hammer
good damage
its s.............l..............o...............w
hard to use while running and fighting

If the bonecrusher is so bad why do you use it Toran?
You make it sound like you are burdened with the thing, but if you use it, it must be better than your previous weapons of choice, which I am sure are not all that bad.



As for James giving this out:

1) did he tell any other staff?

2) did he leave a PM for stefan so it wouldn't go uncaught after he got back?

3) is there any previous occurance of something like this that would give him the idea that it is in any way exceptable?

Maybe James is corrupt but he doesn't seem that way to me so far, but it is very very neglegent to hand out unreleased items without at least talking to any of the other staff about it, and having it only come to light through the complaints of other players.

James shall replace a bamboo rod.
Its like someone lost his dagger and gets a diamond force as replace.
Dam+ 50 is too high, well it weights very much but its still 40 dam above "normal" event items.
He lost the bamboo in a bug and not a goddam bonecrusher, i only can say that lyndzey has a good idea with firing james.

And as far as the items go, I saw them evented off, I don't know by who, but I'm sure it was in one of those "SLAY ALL THESE MONSTERS THAT DROP ****" events. (Tseng and James hosted it i think)

no biggy, it's not as good as a minor cloak of protection (no speed + 1. :( )

you got ripped then. Perfect gloves don't take in stats (dupe stats.)

And the mistake was not a player mistake, more like an administrator mistake.

I only used bonecrusher to map and that was rarely since:
a.) In maps I would pick up organics and become very heavy, and wielding bonecrusher slowed me down from 5.6 to 3.9 (x.x) after I hit the 900kg weight limit. The I would switch to my warhammer and map.
b.) It wasn't very accurate unless I roundhouse kicked, which was very slow and i had to be standing right under the monster to hit it.
c.) 200 freaking KG slows one down when wielded.

James did it then. The only 'monster-kill' events I did was a trial exp event in bogenera, and a skeleton-kill-for-diamonds-no-exp-involved event in bomboria, and there were no serpent cloaks at all.

These items should not have been released. You should have cooperated and assisted us in dealing with this problem; instead you have whined and complained and refused to help us.

The saying "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem." comes to mind. If you won't help us fix this, you're just as guilty.

It doesn't matter how you used it. The fact is that you should not have received it in the first place, and in admitting to using it to gain something, anything, you are admitting to unbalancing the game. Additionally, if it was so horrible, why did you use it instead of your warhammer? That makes no sense whatsoever. :)

And, weapons don't slow you down when wielded, only when carried.

Try again, they do slow you down when wielded. When I carried it I went from 5.6 to 5.23 or somethiung, and when wielded I would go 5.03 or something.

And, uhm, nobody ever asked for the bonecrusher other than Chris, and I am sure as hell not giving it to him.

As for weights, why, then, does carrying a dwarven warhammer make me go from 4.833 to 4.740, and wielding it does not make it go any lower? My current sword gives me no speed, so the only explanation is that wielding heavy things doesn't slow you down.

You probably have around 27 str.

But, uhm, you never asked for it. When I asked you when you/admins would take it back/get it replaced, you said "at the earliest convenience" and I said "i'll wait for stefan."

5,2 speed is still uber speedy. The "oh it slows me down like teh uber" doesnt work =//

5.2 isn't as fast as 5.6 or 6.33 :|

James gave me bracers of Dex as a prize to give at my Boat Wars...which Taulbee won. I don't know if taulbee traded those to Toran or what.
