I'm taking DX's side on this..I left the game because of bug abusers, came back recently to a messed up economy from what? More bugs...and I've decided to stay. I'll never touch a bug, I'll just live with them =/
Any form of reset will hurt us who haven't abused anything, so I doubt Stefan would do one.

Besides, Stefan said a reset is out of the question if he were to fix anything because it would lose player support. He said this in Bomboria during the short time he was on. 'Nuff said ^-^

From what I remember, not sure if it's been posted, Stefan and Cyberjouer were going to have this version of Kingdoms and then another, the final version of Kingdoms; they would both be up at the same time, though I'm not sure if they're still adhering to those plans or what's going on anymore. :confused:

I worked my arse off to get Inferno of gov+5, Warhammer Of Soc. Of Gov+5, Full Helm Of Might+4, Forest Shield+4, Iron boots+4, Havoks+4, and Mithril Chainmail of Beweans....

I don't think a reset on the server is necessary. I, for one, have not played the server since I resigned from my Kingship of Dustari, mainly because of disinterest; I feel the role-playing value on the server has fallen dramatically from what was once on Bomy Moon, and while I enjoy the people and the kingdoms on it, it never interested me after I rose and then resigned from the throne.

I don't like the idea of a reset, nonetheless. I think that Stefan should open a second server, the final server, if he wants to do anything close to a reset; fix all the bug abuses, first, and then open up that second server. The people could still keep their things on the beta server; after all, this Kingdoms was only intended to be a beta server; it used to even be in the name (Graal 2002 Alpha or Beta), but that's just my opinion, so I'd like to know what everyone things.

Some people think Kingdoms crashed, but I haven't played it in a while. Did it actually crash, or did Stefan come on and say it was being shut down, or what? I think a lot more light could be shed on this topic if we have someone who actually saw everything that happened. It might make "deducting" what's going on a bit more easier.

A server reset is very doubtful, stefan said that he would not do a reset...just the cost of living will go up.

Personally, i can't see a reset happening. Its too much of a risk for Stefan to loose players :\

Anyway, if there was to be a reset, I wouldn't support it. I have to agree with DragonX. Most of the stuff you have been doing on kingdoms will have been a complite waste of time :rolleyes:

Well why would you care with all those things, all you have to do is get money again and buy them all. You can't buy a Blood Ring or Ice Bracers or other event items...All the stuff you listed is buyable.

Oh, I've had event items before .. I had a shield of Immortal Frost, Golden Bracers .. I had the opportunity to get other event items as well ..

.. besides, event items are the same .. you can just win an event and get them again.

Even though no more events are being held for strong items!!

My only question about this or questions -
How long will it be down
if for a long period of time will we be given out hours back that we were unable to fulfill? or are our hours on freeze time, and not wearing down at the moment.

Stefan told me himself that events will return soon ..

And he has been quoted quite a few times that he doesn't want any of these strong items as prizes anymore. There are other valuable items which can serve as prizes, immense maps or improvement potions for example.

I am a newbie to kingdoms, and play it quite often. It has been down for about 12 hours now, I was online when it "shut down". Anyway, I just got a ton of plat from someone who was quitting kingdoms like 2 hours before it went down...It would be just my luck if they reset it now -_-
I would like to see the economy balanced out, but I do not think it is possible. Someone always finds a bug or glitch or something, ALWAYS, and they abuse it and tell all their friends about it and so on, it's like an exclusive club, only certain people and their friends get good items. That is part of the reason I quit Era.

I dont want to lose the best items i had and waste 1.5 years of my life getting them

and to make this clear i bet that the server IS NOT being reset, its most likely someone hacked the FTP or server or whatever the heck they do, or the gserver went down i dont know but i do know its not a reset, if stefan reset GK then he would have about 400 forum pms and 300 people pming him everywhere.

I wish Stefan or Unixmad or anyone that knows what was going on would tell us on forums so we wouldnt be so helpless.

Angel told me that she is going to page unixmad about Graal Kingdoms, but she doesnt have contact with Stefan and doesnt know what happend she says she thinks it will surely be on tommorow.

Here's an idea: The event people hold lots of events daily (like maybe 50+ per day) and the only prize you can get is a specail coin or something, then once you get enough of those coins you can trade them in a special shop for those items (maybe events would give out around 5 for the winner, 3 for second, 1 for third) and then it costs maybe 500ish coins to get a dragon ammy, maybe 100ish for an inferno sword, etc.

I for one wouldn't mind a reset, but only if they fix some things first.

They have to make some way to control money inflation and fix most of the bugs atleast.


I admit that when the renaming items came out, I abused it and I abused the hell out of it. But whenever I reupgraded, I reset my character so I could experience the game like it should be. I think it would be fun to have a complete reset.

then people would have to work together instead of outcasting people who didnt know much
to build the little reputation i have i had to beat people in duels whenever i was only level12 and they were like 17+ with mithril and stuff
then after i did that people started recognizing me and i was no longer outcasted
its hard to get started on kingdoms now since everyone doesnt really care about people who are just starting thats why i try to help everyone i can
ive helped about 15 people who just started get to level7+ and im only level14 (well almost 15 now ;D)


also i think the events coin would be a good idea anyway

Sounds like the ticket system used by GCs on classic... not a bad idea, but then again, how would you get 50+ events a day - or even 10 - given you want them distributed over the whole 24 hours and not concentrated in any timezone.

id be happy to be an et im on about 7 hours a day (whenever its up unlike right now ;\) and usually different times of the day because i have insomnia ;]

The point is that not everyone who wants to be EM is capable of doing a good job. Don't take it as any kind of personal comment, just a general one.
