Not to mention arrogant and insulting. You can't just explain it like a decent human being. You have to say something like "Completely and utterly incorrect." without giving any reasons whatsoever. Just grow up a little, man.

Sorry need to stop this thread. I wonder why no one asks 'Should Ms make windows open source'.
We make money with letting people play on our servers using our client. Giving the source for client and server away would totally destroy that, meaning we couldn't pay servers, developement, pay back old bills. The game would go in chaos because there would be 20 versions of the server and of the client, developers would more work on cryptic platform-specific things instead of making new content.
And it's not needed, most parts of Graal are already open source - the levels, ganis, and most scripts are available for everyone, and for paying a quite low fee for an online game you also get (as developer) a good set of gfx, a big audience and easy-to-use tools, and the engine is being worked on to introduce new interesting things, e.g. in a few days the new scripting engine will be released.
