Yes, There is no point use the delphi version since its not multi plat formed like C++ . Why use delph , when C++ is faster with better graphics support ( Direct draw and OpenGL ) and its also multi plat formed.
I know 3.0 is buggy , becouse i tryed it on Mandrake 9.1 ( Linux ) and its more or less has the same bugs as windows version of 3.0. It should work alot better when the Final version is released of 3.0 .

For some months both versions will work. v3 will replace the old version when it is more compatible and has the editor things. The main problem is that some older computers might not be able to run v3 because you need direct3d or opengl, while the delphi version only needs directx5 for the basic functionality, no light effects though then. It would be interesting how many people still use older computers. I have upgraded my computer 4 1/2 years ago for 360$, and have 3d and everything (450Mhz, Riva TNT).
Another solution could be to make a special wrapper so that v3 can support directx5 things, 2D only, for classic servers only.

LoL:-)
My computers are
450 MHz with 256 ram and a 32mb TNT,
1.3 Ghz Athlon 256 ram and 64mb radeon 7000 and a sound blaster live 5.1 card
My laptop motherboard/every thing attached to it is made by Sis (very crappie) but it has 1.2 GHz Celeron with 512ram Lol:-)
They are all networked together lol:-)

I am planning on build my own computer this summer, ill try and get a RADEON 9800 PRO 256MB . what I will buy for sure is "AsusTek A7N8X Deluxe" mother board and a athlon xp 3000 333mhz fbs and 512 ram or 1024ram if i want to do some video editing on it with a large hard drive, ill try and get a 160gb hard drive i can. All this crap will have to be imported from the U.S which is going to drain a lot of cash from my pocket LoL:-

Are you being sarcastic? But if thats all he needs it's fine. I bet he has a nice work computer. That may be his home computer.

Box Characters

I don't see normal characters in the Graal 3 preview.... I see tons of boxes... is there some sort of character library being used that wasn't included? I got as far as the Playerworld list, and then it froze when I tried to connect to Era (I had to squint to see which one had three miniature boxes for a name) I closed it and got on the latest non-3.xx version of graal and it worked fine.
