It's like working on a school project for something, you both have been educated about something therefor you should both be able to correct each other's mistakes if there was any. :)

I don't believe that I could force myself to do anything with him, unless I'm misjudging the attitude of "being better than everyone else"

I'm guessing he probably wouldn't want to either

it doesn't much matter now anyway because unixmad told me he's going to manage the guildCP with Tyhm

NovaNET 05-24-2003 03:52 AM

P.S. Thym get ahold of me at [email protected] or sms (415) 724-0886

When??!?

Just wondering how much longer we will have to wait till the guild systems are fully functional ?? not being able to boot people from the guild is hurting many guilds, with so many inactive members pulling the guild down.

Jsut woudnering how much longer we'll have to wait.

Nope, guess it doesn't.

...it only matters the fact that I no longer work for a computer store and that I don't work on a main computer branch...

Yup, guess it does.

Wow, that's about stupid, but who cares... =>.<=

Nope, it isn't. And no one.

It's kind of obvious that Nova has better credentials than you. He's a professional, I wouldn't ask a grade 11 biology student to give me a kidney transplant.

Not that I am unhappy with NovaNET or Unixmad's choice in general, but why not just release some requirements for the GuildCP and technical details (i.e. the structure of the guilds database, details about the environment the program has to operate in) and make this a kind of community project?
Source could be made available and everyone could contribute to it. Seeing how everyone seems to be pretty eager to see the thing being done, this project would probably advance pretty fast.
To keep a kind of authority, quality assurance and control, someone could still be appointed to manage contributions and keep a roadmap.

Just waiting for Unixmad to send me the legal paperwork and then i could have it done in a day or two i would suppose. I'll go ahead and e-mail him again since i need to talk to him anyways.

NovaNET, has Unixmad given you those documents yet? The lack of these options is hurting guilds and leaders on classic really bad, we need this option as soon as possible. Thanks for your help in doing it though, I hope he already sent them, but if not he needs to hurry!!!!
