My computer's in an old converted cupboard in a corner of the dining room in my house. It's nor really my computer per se, but I always leave it on hibernation, with my stuff up, so people can't use it. >:] My sister uses the main one anyway, and when my dad needs it for his work, or my mum wants to use it, she just uses her laptop in her room. |
My Parents blame Graal for everything that goes wrong on my computer. Thats usually because it is Graal ^.^ Either that or AOL

No, ICQ really does screw up your computer.

It sounds to me like Comet Cursor was in your computer....and you uninstalled it. This might leave traces of registry data in your registry. My only solution would be to delete it from registry(dangerous as hell). You could also run msconfig and try unselecting the stuff you don't need.

My brother blaims everything on graal, icq and my music |
Graal does cause computer problems,
so many that I dont like to play it. It should have been fixed before anyone had to pay for it. Thats like paying for a toaster that makes burnt toast |

Anyone know a reason why my computer is all the sudden going slower, like it takes awhile for a program to come up when i click on it, and everything is just slower, and sometimes my computer freezes up for like 3 seconds, and then starts working again? I did an antivirus thing and it didnt find anything.
my parents never use the computer except for mail. :D |

heck yeah, no matter what the problem it is, its Graal O my goodness, I just deleted my files, its all because of that stupid game Xx :) |
My parents blame everything on games and computers. If I do something wrong, its because of the computer. OMG! I hate them for that. Oh well.

It seems that Graal does use up quite a bit of system resources. So that probably hurts people with older computers. I can have around 2 graal windows open, AOL, internet explorer, ulead gif animator, and paint open for quite a while before my comp freezes up. I have Windows 98 S.E. 500MHZ CPU, and a crappy 28.8 K Dial-up.
I do take pretty good care of my comp though. I scan and defrag and clean up my internet folder at least once every couple days. That could possibly be a huge help. At least I think so cause I'm one of the few that don't have problems with AOL. |
graal doesn't even come close to slowing down my computer

Whoever stated that games don't harm the computer is wrong (since everything you do harms it...)
Games CONSTANTLY use system resources, which some of you forget that it is actual physical hardware. It can be worn and overused. Windows will harm the computer without your knowing because it doesn't run a filesystem check as a regular practice (this should be done, leaving files open in an os leaves lost data sectors on the hard disk). I believe windows did (pretty sure it still does) leaves a membrance of every library it uses till shutdown when it takes care of closing this cashe, but its hard to trust that because you can't moniter this process. Also an improper shutdown will also cause the above stated problem. So yes, graal can harm your computer... but so can everything else. The program itsself doesn't change any internal settings, just adds registry keys which remain even if graal is removed. |

My parents blame everything on Graal too. Also, Graal would give me some errors that i'd have to run a scan and clean out graal files I never knew I had that are crosslinked and erroneous. I clean it up, and everything is alright. <3 Graal <3
