That's how Classic went (Well, levels-wise) and Classic is one of the best servers out there. Not to mention that it has been online for a long time and I think has over 6000 levels.

I don't see why people don't do that more often.

Maloria is not a failure...

Well, yes, but to an extent, the player built the server.

I don't like Maloria, but you still had no right at all to take your things off of there. Unixmad owns all the playermade servers as well as the Gold servers. So really, you only manage them. =/
If Stefan gave your permition to take your things from Maloria then I guess we can all take our things when we quit. A policy is not ment to be broken unless offically changed by Unixmad.

Actually this thread should be closed seeing that Maloria is not that crap PW anymore... And I hate those people who resurrect old threads...

I dunno any that werent.

While the players definitely contributed, unchecked player development is not condusive to a server's well being. The players all had the same demand - their quest had to give away a fullheart, or a more powerful sword. It had to be as close as possible to the start. It lead to a painful imbalance between the helpless newbies and everyone else, and the entire map was basically staplegunned together, no respect for level boundaries or anything - half a tree on one side, dirt on the other side, it looked like crap. What transitions there were were generally comprised of masking the problem rather than solving it - putting a bunch of lamps or tents over the problem area.

i think everyone is entitled to their say but i dont think its right that some people are going around flaming Mal, personally i think Mal is good but thats what i think. I dont think you guys can judge some one elses PW considering most of you dont have a PW. I took the same veiw as you guys but once i got into Mal i found it quite enjoyable but then again that is my own perspective inwhich you all have the right too.
