Graal was designed by Linux Cyberjoueurs for online gamers between 12 years old to 65 years young. The concept of Graal is to provide a fun alternative to the proliferation of shooter games available today. Here are some of the features in Graal :


Many quests in Graal require players to work together. This increases the team spirit among players and creates a strong community.
Immediate Fun. Graal can be downloaded and played immediately. There are no complicated rule-books or controls, no adult themed content. Just diverse and constantly evolving fun in a vast, virtual world!
Players can use tools to create their own content, such as their own quests and even entire worlds. By using these tools, players learn to design interactive scenarios and basic programming skills. Players also work together on larger projects.

Graal includes administration tools for monitoring player chat, to control cheating, and to resolve disputes. These tools let us ban players who threaten others beyond competitive gameplay or who make sexual or racist comments.

Players are anonymous. No personal player information recorded during game registration is available to other players. Individual player information will never be sold or otherwise made available to third party mailing lists or advertisers.

Player characters can learn fun skills as an alternative to violent activities: Diving for pearls, fishing, farming, mining, crafting diamonds and much more

There is no violence involving dismemberment, blood and guts, or any other form of graphic violence. If there is a sparring competition, the defeated players lose very little and their character is fully functional after only a few seconds.

Advertising is strictly controlled by GraalOnline. No advertising will be allowed from any third party selling products which are unacceptable for the children or the general public.

umm, yea about that picture. It's a joke, most people that play this game should be over the age of 12, and in my thoughts when you reach the age of twelve you should be able to understand that joke and be mature enough to go tell mommy. charlie, you being a parent I understand, but kids today are losing virginity at 12. It's called the inner-city factor. kids today are 5 years ahead of where you were at their age.

I thought the inner city factors were those places downtown with the smockstacks and they make stuff inside...

I have 4 daughters and 3 are virgins (oldest is 24) 2 are 14 and 15 and no they have not been "deflowered" nor will they anytime soon but that is not the point here.... It is the marketing of Graal and how the "paying Parents " percive the game image to be.. Like I said if this was an adult game then I would have never said a word ....but as it is it isn't. And what is allowed at your house or how you are raised is of course your business but on a World Wide scale it is not and it is not all viewed as someone in the USA does , this Game is Global and in many countries so imposing your moral views is not a good marketing tool at all but to appeal to all World Wide countires you have to appeal to all so the Graal image is very improtant for the surival of the Game and in some countries this type of joke would be an insult something Graal would have to distance itself from so as not to take sides in any sort of thing like this. It is nothing more than politics and Public image.... and it is the only point I am making .. to allow "crude jokes" would make Graal look unprofessional in a Global image...

I wonder how many people here besides me live in Hawaii... I know Korin used to. That's the only other person I can think of who has lived there before.

You can't please everyone. Someone might think that having your name as "Moon God" declaring yourself god is against their religious values or something. How do you know that your other daughters are virgins? What do you do, sit down at the dinner table and say "are you deflowered yet?" I highly doubt they are going to tell you about their private sexual things. By the way, they teach kids about masturbation in 5th grade, I would hate to be your kid.

edit: Oh and also, this is the internet. If you didn't realize this by now, you're supposed to monitor what your children do on the net if you are unsure about what they are doing. This isn't a tv show where you can edit out the bad words. If your daughters go on the net at all then they WILL see offensive/mature things.

Ok well, MoonGod, I see your point of view and I can totally understand where your comming from.

It's just one picture though, and its not on the actual GraalOnline game...I dont know if those rules apply to the forums or not. I dont think it was nessisary to go off topic to talk about this, it would have been just as easy to simply forum PM somebody who could take care of it, agreed?

Anyways I'm not seeking to get into this argument, but I think alot of boundaries in life are sometimes not so clear...We arent perfect, and I think the Graal Administration is doing a find job enforcing what rules they have (including being against the adult-oriented stuff), things will always fall through the filter and I believe it's inevitable. One word in a single persons sig on the 'forum' of a family-game isnt really that terrible, a small fraction of all the people who play graal will notice it, and most of the people who do see it probably wont take it to such an extreme, as the picture has nothing to do with the word. The sig offers no explaination of the word, so really the only way you would even understand is if you arleady know its deffinition.

Heh, besides, its warning you not to. Its just like saying, "Every time you smoke pot, brain-cells die. Please, dont smoke pot" except its more of a joke. I see no wrong in that.

Moog Dod, this is the game forum, not the actual game. after the strip bar was taken out, most of the sexual content came away from graal :)

Last year when I went there, I went scubba diving, it was the most fun I think I've ever had.

Make sure you go snorkoling or scubba diving, what ever just try to go diving swimming, its just so fun!

Anyways, have fun. Personally, I think Australia would've been a better place to go on holidays to than Hawaii, but that's just me. Also, the fact that I live in Australia may have added to that fact. :)
