this is what i think, lol i find it funny you saw the go-karts heheh but, the graphics are made to look like its back in the day (like flinston style). Also, its way more realistic on 2002 because, the elevations, you go fast downhill, slower uphill, and with new things like that will make it much better then the older outclasses Graal2001 version, anyways there wont be many Kart tracks. I balive that it will be verry limited, such as 1 to 2 at the most i think.

Wow, you say so much good things about them. Would you like to drive in one all day while your playing on graal sir? How about where your RPing, You go over a battle field. Would you like to see a go-kart driven around the field you are fighting at?

I know thats unlikely to happen. But I don't like go-karts. Or do I like the thought of them. Its a graal2k1 thing. And you can make hills in graal2k1.

Ok dont talk like you know everything, I work for 2002, and it would'nt be like that, i cant say too much but, just expect it to be just for Racing on the track(s). You can say "leave kart" too, and also each Island on Graal2002 is 1000+ levels i dont think you want to kart your way around for hours becuase it only works on sertain grounds, other then that it is verry slow.

I've played graal2002 when there were no hills and S was also a bow when you shoot it. Lord Chimp gave me the adress and I played it.

It also had a cool statue of unixmad.

I know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Do NOT treat me as if I don't know a thing. I know about the hills. and I know the track may be different. but..

You say graal2002 is going to be a RP server (Maybe not you, but stefan and the producers do). So What the hell are go karts doing on there. Mingames is a graal2k1 and you've seen what they do. They just hog SPACE. NO ONE EVER USES THEM. so why place them on graal2002. WHY? there is no good explanation. If your not RPing you can do other stuff like explore, I'm sure the staff can think of better activities

Listen again, there is more to Graal2002 then just RP, there will be events and stuff, not all set up for RP but still there, poeple will have fun, mabie not you. There will be events there that arnt RP related which isnt my choice you can take that up with stefan, but Go-Karts are fine, and you must not have see Graal 2002 that much of it, cause yes there are hills, on the Go-Kart track thats there, there are manny hills, there are hills all over 2002 aswell.

Graal2002 promises to be an RP server. RPing is the best aspect of graal by far.

Tell me, what is more enjoyable? The varied dialogue, player interaction, limitless possibilities of RPing, or... Karts. Yay.

One, Did you read? I did say there are Hills. Events and stuff are great! EXCELLENT. ABSOLUTLY WONDERFUL. But what happens when some one says "OK EVERYONE! LETS HAVE A GOKART RACE!"

1. Don't go on the main island.
2. Don't go on the go kart track.
3. Don't use the go karts.
4. Click "close" on PMs that have Go Kart racing on them.
5. Everyone is happy, even the ones who want to use the go karts.

I can see it now if they are allowed off.

go karts in graal 2002 isnt a good idea since no one uses them on graal 2001 why would they use them on graal2002 it will be a continueless cycle of stuff from 2001 that would be on graal2002

I think the support should be aimed at getting some graalians a better education, because it seems you're worried more about players massing out about go-karts and stuff then the go-karts themselves.

There's always going to be idiots on Graal, and 2k2 is not going to be an exception.. just look at the preview, tons of people massing on there wanting to trade hats and items and that was only open for a few hours.

No matter how hard Stefan tries, 2k2 won't be strictly RPing unless he banned the idiots that massed about selling hats and go-kart racing. That's obviously not going to happen because people pay to play the server and would be highly pissed if they are banned for being stupid. However, I don't think p2p playerworlds have to put up with it, so maybe there is hope with playerworlds and roleplaying.. but for the main servers, no way is it going to happen.

You mark my words, less then an hour after 2k2 is finally opened, there will be idiots massing about selling and trading stuff, and people complaining, and arguing. It's like a scientific fact.

but stefan has a new chat system so they can't mass right? I wont be playing graal if there is masses on. Only ones that should be able to mass and talk to everyone at once is the admins.

Hells Angels was a real gang around my area at one time. My dad was in the Dragons, they had a big fight at the bar and half of hells angels were arrested.. basically the gangs got split up or left. I wish I could find where my dad buried his Jacket. :D

This is what happends with some Medevil RPGs. Put guns in, and its Resident Evil! (Kind of how FF7 got started). Basicly, the majority of role-playing games is the era of knights and castles. Basicly some people just follow up on Final Fantasy, there was no airships in those days.... Tons of RPGs are like this, but if you guys think the carts suck then dont ride them. But if you are mad because people are mostly going to having races than rpging then I understand. By why not just drive your cart into battle?

The cars will be for people who are bored from rpging, or will use it for transportation. But if everyone just starts racing on graal instead of fighting, I realize why people are mad at Stefan turning Graal into Mario Kart.

I dont play on 2001, there is not enough people and classic is the most popular with more people. However, 2001 has a cool hat trading deal which is cool and has better graphics and features.

Maby Stefan will take em off if its too much driving then rpging, but sometimes even protests cant stop anything.

Yea I know I am good friends with members of the Bloods and Latin Kings.. I don't do bad stuff. Well really bad stuff :) no drugs, drinking, guns.. I have learned from watching others be stupid. It's not worth it.

The minigames will be out of the way of the rest of the activities in the world, on their own island on the main map. This will be where things like go-karts will go, and the only place they will be allowed to go.

Here is a PNG of the island how it is now. If you want I could fence it all in so you know when you are entering it, so you don't accidentally run through it while you are RPing...

Yes, it is the path going arround the mountain.

I have no problem with there being a seperate island just for the mini-games. That's fine with me, if the games are restricted just to that one island. What worries me, however, is that kart racing is currently smack in the center of the main overworld.

Which means that it is the furthest away from the kingdoms surrounding that island...

But of course, nobody roleplays on the main island, right? There's a tiny island just off to the bottom right corner of the map, why not just stick it there? People are going to be using the main island for roleplaying, you know.

It's just a little part of the island, there is pleanty of island left for you to role play on.
