bah......im not talking about ganis, Dante......im talking about npc........i could probably use keydown to detect when the player swings their sword.....and then have it check the player's sword power.....then make graal load a different gani instead of the sword one..
|
Actually, they do Dante...
|
That will work fine but like I said, I'm pretty sure you can't script the gani to check the player's sword power. You'd have to make it choose the ganiu based upon sword power.

Since i'm a Samurai Farmer I would use a katana, or a pitchfork.
|
I'd want a katana, too. It would slice 'n' dice :D
|
I'd use a bastard sword with Holy Power surging through it that only kills people with 50 AP and lower..anyone with aobve 50 ap wouldn't be affected by the Holy Power

Samurai Farmers should use Sai (Raphael's weapon, if anyone remembers Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). They were originally used to place three furrows in soft ground at once to plant the seeds in...only later when the peasants revolted against the emperor were they first used as weapons, and the martial art accompanying it sprung up from those humble beginnings...same is true for many older weapons...
Sai's are pretty damn cool when used properly. I saw this one guy who could actually do locks with a sai. If you tried to move, you'd lose your hand...Met this other guy who could project his chi/ki/soul, he was a bouncer, carried a heavy fan. He could kick some major butt with that fan. It was hillarious and ironic...wiry black guy with a black metal fan, whippin' the damn thing around so fast you expected his invisible opponent to be decapitated in the one fluid motion before he restored it to its pouch. Incredible stuff. Ciefu Chemo, I think. Can't spell either name right... |
I've never seen a person use a fan, and I've always wanted to! you're so lucky Tyhm!
I've a few friends who use sai, one actually as a master, but I didn't know it's wonderful history! That's very excellent, Tyhm, and a good reason for the Samurai farmers to use it! |
