If it wason Bravo (P2P) then it isnt urs anymore it was Bravo'level and U cant do anything Brandon has to and I dont think Brandon cares to much. And yea LH was the LAT Admin cause I was the GM when he was.But Babylon is a great server and people get so ****in annoying saying that its **** cause ur PW isnt up the whole server isnt fixed yet because in the first week FTP got messed up, then LH got introuble and couldnt come on. So shut up when u dont know what ur talken about.

Shut the **** up there is only thoes 2 levls that u people ***** about you all always have to say something about a server when it comes up. If you dont like it dont play it.

Being part of the babylon staff i believe its my part to some what defend the PW. Alright, here are some things i have to say in defence:

1. Who cares its a level get over it, its not like were making money off of it.

2. Plus Babylon is a Non-P2P PW its not like people on babylon just go on for the levels.

3. Pluss the levels arent something special, to me i dont really like any levels that much because everyone uses the same tiles and that just gets boring.

4. Also try PMing Lord Hulmut if you want to complain about something he did instead of making a tread that basicly repeates "Ooo you stole my level, im mad and am going to say the same things over and over again."

5. THIS IS A GAME!!!!!!!! i could understand if it was a graphic/picture that you drew and some other server was using it without permission but its a level, its not like babylon just took all the levels from another PW and changed the name.

6. Finaly, i quote the lyrics a Linkin Park (even though i dont like there music) "In the end it doesnt really mater"

well, this has been an interesting thread, hasnt it? Seems to me that everyone that agrees with this topic (1st post by author) is irrational, has a bad temper over simple things, and like to insult people about things that are off topic.

Going off topic in defense of Kamuii, he is a perfectly fine person and RPer. He might not let some players in his guild, because of posts like these. He is an excelent RPer in my opinion (Im not Dustari, but if you handle people with respect, you get respect :)).

Hey sorry I dont get on the message boards much anymore. My free time is used making stuff for babylon. Sorry about the outside level but I have seen it on tons of other servers. Sorry to you for using it but its been there a while. I really dont think there is anyway to copywright level designs or anything.

I did however copy 2 of birdbird's levels from 2001 just to try and learn to make them like him. One was the altered start house and the other was shoe making. I am going to change those when I get a chance. Really about the 2001 start house, i made the outline (like birds) and had someone else do floor and they just happened to make it that way. He already told me he doesnt hold it against me and i thank him. I just have it actually linked on there cuz the old welcome center was made 8 months ago and was a small square room with a couch and a NPC. I decided that was bad so i just used that as a chance to try and learn some bird bird tiling. He is a levels god and im just trying to learn to make levels more like his.

ionflux, uve got a cheek. i dont just plain out dis servers for no reason, i have a reason everytime, everything i have ever said about any server has been the truth, and/or my opinion. goto babylons library place and look at the tree inside, it has grass tiles that join onto carpet... how silly? its bad levels and tile work, and he admitted he stole the levels, which is wrong and is somtimes a cause for a server to be removed unless they get rid of the levels... i think ur just a twat basically, and u have nothing to back up your accusations. as for babylon, it does suck, and therefore i dont play it. but im still allowed to critise it... i mostly critise contructivly, but i dont believe contructive critism will help babylon to improve, because its far too bad for anything to be done except remake it :-P bye.

I dont wanna sound biest(sp?) just because i am GFX Admin on Babylon but here i go:

I really find it unfair for all of you who are outright saying Babylon sucks to judge so swiftly. We are a new server, FTP wasnt working at first, and Lord Helmut hasnt been on much untill recently for a while cause of something he did a long time back i guess.
Many servers, when they had first went up, were listed as "Under Construction" on the server list. Because we didnt go up like that doesnt mean we are fully finished or even close to it, its just because Stefan doesnt allow that anymore. I know there isnt all that much to do right now, and i keep saying that we need to finish the quest that was already half uploaded from before FTP got working, and we need more jobs and mini games opporational. For whatever reason, I was informed by Xaviar that LH has said our Kuro project is top priority. Im sorry but that just doesnt make sense Helmut...players need to be able to buy/win them and for that they need to be able to make money (i.e. jobs, winning events). Besides Kuros wont be used by everybody, so i think fixing known bugs, expanding the overworld, and uploading more quests jobs and games to be top priority; as that would benifit all.
I understand the similarities between those levels, but they arent the same, just the building is sorta similar. So Helmut maybe i guess should see about gettng that fixed, but i see no reason why a complaint on a few levels should result in dissing the server as a whole.
I myself have been with Babylon for quite some time now, and I've worked real hard, by putting in tons of hours doing graphix and more hours spent online trying to make Babylon a better place by answering questions, hosting 'some' events (lol), getting rid of trouble makers (especially people using Pie's speed trainer or whatever *sigh*), and helping as much as i can when possible.
Because of this i am offended by all those remarks about Babylons 'poor' quality when its hardly in a position to be judged fairly. I dont understand how people can be sooo shallow...Hell i've turned in many school assignments late and have been late to school alot too because of lack of sleep on those nights when i was trying to get a graphic done. I'VE WORKED HARD AND I'VE BEEN F**KING COMMITTED, BABYLON IS ALOT BETTER THAN 10 MINUTES WORTH OF WORK, PEOPLE WORK HARD ON SERVERS AND ITS SO UNFAIR TO SAY ALL THERE WORK DIDNT PAY OFF FOR **** JUST BECAUSE OF THEIR FIRST IMPRESSION OF A NEW SERVER IN A SHAKY STATE!
So yah if the level was stolen then replace it or get permission, but a few levels being used that arent original shouldnt be a factor to judge Babylon itself. And I would appreciate if you would seek permission before using any of my stuff, because i dont know if anybodys tried or not...I also dont appreciate it when people rename my pics so they dont start with 'zen' but instead 'b' or something, *cough*lordhelmut*cough*, I'd like to get credit for my work when at all possible.

LH made Babylon for Bravo. It was originally supposed to be a new bravo is what he told me, but changed it to remind bravo players of Bravo.

It was, I made it after I couldnt play bravo anymore to replace bravo then later it just evolved.

it's DW's level and u cant just take something from another PW just cuz u worked there and use it on ur own .. here is the level from Bravo .. this is from the Bravo before it was ANDOR .. the one that I had gened .. i even posted a screen shot of it before on the forums (of the map and u can c the start house)

I am going to change it. I remembered today what happened. The start house was where the shop is now and it was like a pre defined house so I decided to move it and change the look. I saw that house in a screenshot on the levels board so I decided to use that look (long time ago) and didnt know who made it. I already apologized for using it and im going to get it down as soon as possible but im busy as hell trying to fix stuff. I will get it down soon but it kinda pisses me off he had to go and make a thread about it :rolleyes:

I had a dreamcast gif in my playerhouse on UN that got removed. You ever hear anything about that Liquid?

I removed a few of imgs of like psx2 , dreamcast and a n64 .. its illegal and copyrighted

If babylon stole levels it should be shutdown immediately i recon.. just an oppinion.. but is there proof?
