We need a bugs admin. Technically Bloodysin hasn't been fired yet, but to my knowledge nor has he put in so much of a day's work since he found out bugs admins just research, forward and collate reports. He was hoping it'd be something cool, like MY job: upload any level with "bug fixes", make "staff tools". Not bloody likely, not in his lifetime, not after the RC Flood incident.

I don't wanna mod or admin any more boards, I can hardly keep up with the ones I got. Hopefully we'll get some sorta lifetime account upgrade dealie so we can get mods that last. Not like the average player stays around the full year anyway, you could charge twice as much for the same service...^_~

If I hadn't become so goddamned dissatisfied with how things were being run, I would probably still be AA.

Dante should be admin again, he was cool. He realizes his own frailties, a talent sorely lacking in the modern world.

In other news - if I may say a word on the subject of Credit Card Fraud. Believe it or not, there are more kinds of Credit Card Fraud than the black-hat card/number theft and fake number generation types. There's also going over the card's limit, cancelling the account prior to transfer, and the infamous refusing charges. All these variations are reduced to one single bit of information - whether or not the money gets to Graal. If the money makes it to Graal's account, everything's peachy. If for ANY reason - the card was fake to your mom didn't understand the charge and called the Fraud line to the CC account was closed too early - the money does NOT get to Graal (or was taken back from Graal), it's Credit Card Fraud and the account is cancelled.

Try and keep that in mind. More than a few people have been whining bitterly that Unixmad accuses everyone of stealing numbers, when all that really happened was your bank didn't pay his bank on time - and half the time it's because of a foul up on your bank's end.

Replace the mods that are gone or are never around. Perhaps give mods the ability to stay here and mod the forum after their accounts expire. Other than that, not a whole lot needs to be changed.

I do think Dante should be a Super Mod again, or even higher ;) Nobody else... NOBODY on these forums is more suited for the duty than him. He is many times more responsible than some of the other suggestions I have seen in this thead.

Do too. There's a difference between not being concious of its importance and being concious of it's not being important! If there's no bugs admin, then either no bug reports get to me, or I spend half my time deleting repeated and unhelpful bug reports!

Sure, in a perfect world where all bug reports are unique and make sense, we wouldn't need one, but we don't have such a world. Instead we have a world where the very FAQs come up to me and say "It sucks, fix it!" and log off without saying what sucks, why it sucks, where it is, or what about it in particular needs to be fixed!

Tyhm I think BloodySin died a while back around June-August. Thats when Judge Spunky was hired from asst faq admin to the faq admin and shortly after I was FAQ. So he cant possibly be here. I think that he died atleast thats sort of what I remember from a mass a staff member massed, someone like Stefan or Bear.:(

Sorry to hear that, but we still need a new bugs admin. Sorry also to be so callous, but he's like the fifth player who suddenly died in the last year, and probably the fifth to return after a lengthy vacation, probably under a different name until he realizes he got more respect on the other one.
